Two things happened at Google over the past 10 days. And if you're a local business owner, they are both good news for you. The first one started on September 24th. Google is still running a spam update right now. And the sites that are getting hit the hardest are the pages with poorly match prodduced

location pages. You know, the type one page per word. The only thing swapped out is the name of the location. Now, just to be clear, there's still a right way to do this. But if you ever searched your service in your town and for some reason found a company that you've never heard of or they've never been to that

location outrank you, that is what's being cleared out. And the second thing happened on the 1st of October. Google updated its guidance on AI content for the first time in almost a year and added one sentence that can kind of change who wins. So this video I'm going to show you exactly what happened, how

this tilts things [music] to your favor, and a checklist in order to make that happen. Let's get started. So, let's talk about a little bit more the pages that are getting hit. These mass generated pages in scale. I want to be very clear here. This strategy can still really work. I'll give you proof of

that. But what I'm talking about is the sites with a page for every town near them in the next 100 miles. And the only thing that is different for each one of these pages is just the name of the location. And what happens here is the reason why you used to get outranked for

the most part by these larger lead generation pages is because they could do a page farm. They would publish around 400 pages each single month. And now obviously that is bringing up some red flags which fair enough. What you really should be doing or what a real business can actually do is maybe
