When a video has human-written captions we use those, which are highly accurate. Otherwise we use automatic speech recognition, which is very good but can miss names or words in noisy audio.
No. Transcripts are generated on demand and are not saved on our servers or tied to any profile.
Private, age-restricted or deleted videos can't be accessed, and a few clips genuinely have no spoken words or captions to pull from.
