Yo, what's up, guys? My name is Severin. Welcome back to the channel, and in today's video, I will show you how to transform your idea or demo into a full, finished, complete song using A Studio. Let's get right into it. So, here we got the interface of A Studio, and as you can see, I already have a file in here.

This is the song that I created in the previous video I uploaded in the 30-minute producer challenge that I did. Note that um I did uh remove the vocal from the song that I created because I was getting a like copyright copyright error, so I removed the vocal. And this is the the demo that we'll be working

with today. Just real quick, for those that don't know the song from the previous video, this is what it sounds like. >> [music]

[music] >> So, still pretty empty here at the beginning. Let's check out the the uh drop. >> [music]

>> Yeah, the drop's pretty cool. Could add some stuff to the drop, but I feel like especially the breaks is where where the track still needs some more elements. It sounds a bit empty. All right, it's just a bit empty. And so, now I'll show you how to really make your song full. This especially works

when you have no inspiration, no ideas whatsoever. So, if that sounds exciting, let's get right into it. So, in A Studio, we have a really cool tool that's called add a layer, and what this will do is it will add a stem file to the song, and you can specify what you want to have. So, for example,

you can let it create a drum stem, you can let it create a bass stem, guitar stems, strings, a brass stem. You can even use it to generate vocals. I've actually shown that in a previous video of mine as well. So, we already have a piano in the break. So, what I thought was maybe we

could have a cool, nice, kitschy guitar. And so, what I'll do is I'll select the guitar here and then I'll just tell it to create a picked guitar 128s uh 128 beats per minute. And then this takes a minute or so. And what I always recommend here is always letting it generate two, three, four

different variations because with every generation, it will create something slightly different. So, this way you can really see which which stem gives you the best results or you can chop them, you use several ones, chop them, and just get the best sound this way. All right, guys. So, now we've got three different variations. For the second

guitar stem, I told it to create an electronic picked guitar specifically because on the first one I only said add a picked guitar. And then with the with the third variation, I told it to to make an acoustic guitar. Okay, so let's check out what it did here. So, this is the first guitar.

Different part [music] here. I think I prefer this part over the beginning part. It's also [music] adding the guitar on the drop. It's okay. I'm not sold on this one but that's why we've created three different variations so we can pick whichever we prefer. So, this is the second one right here. This is the electronic one.

>> [music] >> Yeah, I definitely prefer this one over the first one. I guess it's it's also a matter of of taste but I this one is really cool. I like this one. Also here for the drop, we could add that to the drop as well. Let's check out the acoustic one. >> [music]

>> It's okay. It has a bit of a stutter in it, which I don't quite like that much. >> [music] >> This part [music] is really cool, very rhythmic. I think it sounds better than the beginning part.

And here it's adding some strummed chords to the drop. I think we can really do something with with the second and the third variation. The first one, I don't like it that much. So, those are the guitars. Next up, what else we could try is maybe have a generate some some strings. There's a lot of things we can

add some strings. Maybe also try some some brass sounds or whatever. Yeah, you can you can also choose custom and and add whatever you want. Be creative, experimental. But for now, I'll try to let it create some cool emotional strings and then also some some cool brass sounds. So, let's see what we can get.

[music] >> That's super awesome. I love this. Just the kettle strings. That's super cool. It also sounds pretty realistic, in my opinion. >> [music] >> Man, for some reason, I don't know why it does this, but it it generates the stem sometimes. I figure it does it uh specifically with with strings. It generates the string

and then it changes the BPM. So, now I don't know, before it was good and now it's changed it to to this. It doesn't make any sense.

Like, why why does it change the tempo? It makes no sense. I'll just recreate this. Maybe we can try to get the tempo right. And then, as I said, I'll also try a a brass stem.

>> [music] >> That's super cool. >> [music] >> Also, this we could try layering that to the drop as well. And then, one more thing I want to try is I want to use the uh custom option. And then, I'll simply let it create um an emotional, interesting arpeggiated synth or something like that. Well, if

you ask me, this workflow is super inspiring because you're practically getting like instant results. And with every generation that you make, you're getting something new to to play around with. So, like with with within seconds, you're getting new input, new ideas, and and new things for your song. And and that really sparks

that that creativity, in my opinion. And so, when you're stuck on a song, I think this tool is is so so cool to to really get that inspiration going again. Right, so let's check out this arpeggiated synth stem. >> [music] >> Nice. >> [music] >> Beautiful. >> [music] >> Yeah, I think for the break, this is

very beautiful. Just having this in the background. All right, guys. So, what I will do is I'll export all of these stems here and then I'll drag and drop them into FL Studio so we can finalize the song, mix everything, and also build out the the arrangement. But, one more thing is I'm

I'm pretty frustrated about that string stem because it's not getting the tempo right. So, I will simply try to recreate that stem and hope it it gets the tempo right so that we can properly use it in the song as well because I really like these staccato strings.

Yeah, the tempo seems to be right here. Notes-wise, it's it's not the way I I wanted it. But, I think we can do something with this as well. All right. So, let me drag and drop all of the stems now into FL Studio so we can finalize the song. Okay, guys. So, this is the project file

of the song. You guys have seen this in the previous video if you've watched it, the 30-minute producer challenge. I've dragged and dropped all of the AC stems in here now. And now we simply have to take the parts that that we really like, mix them in, do some maybe some automations, right? Some some looping,

that type of stuff. So, the first stem was [music] this one. I wasn't quite sure about this one so I'll mute this for now. This one I really like. I think what I'll do is I'll I'll loop this here. >> [music] >> Yeah, I'll loop this part and then I'll send this to to the mixer and then I'll

I'll low pass it, I think. I'll I'll do a automation here. All right. So, I'll have to filter like this, slightly close at the beginning and then I'll open up slowly. And then I also got rid of some of the higher mids in the guitar. They were a bit harsh. So, now we have

this. >> [music]

>> Then we got the acoustic guitar. >> [music] >> I think I'll have it from here to >> [music] >> start building the song. Maybe get rid of it in the build-up. I'm not sure about this section. And then we need to find the right string. Now we can try to layer this one in just

in the background. And then the idea that I have with the brass, I think it could be cool to use this one only in the second break. So we have a little bit of variation. But we also have this arpsynth. >> [music] >> Or we could honestly try to use that in the second break as well. So I'll simply

copy and paste all of this, paste it in here.

>> [music] >> Maybe add some more drums here as well, bring back the the strings. I think I'll I'll use the drop kick and I'll simply add a low pass filter. And then we're probably pretty much there, I would say. And then one more thing, the second drop. In order to make it a bit

different to the first drop, we can try having these strings on the second drop. We'll probably want to get rid of the bass here so it doesn't clash with with the rest of the drop. >> [music] >> Clean up the low mids a bit as well. And then we'll probably want to increase
