BREAKING: Green Card Lottery DV-2027 PAUSED (No Nov 1 Opening)

Breaking news, breaking news, breaking news about the status of the diversity visa lottery. The green card lottery DV 2027 has been paused. Meaning the scheduling of opening of November 1st as the application for the DV lottery will not start on that particular day until the court of appeal make the decision of the appeal from the department of state.

We remember that on October 14:15 the government was ordered to start the DV lottery on November 1st for 30 days until uh November 30th and the results to be out by December 3rd and the decision at that particular time was the government should make the decision by midnight of October 29. As I'm making this video, it

is October 29 if you are watching this video now. So, because of the appeal, the government went to put some emergence uh request to the court that we don't want to do anything until our appeal is finalized. It makes sense if you go to the legal situation. So, what does that mean? Let's go to the

decision. The decision October 29, 2026 from the same district court, Southern District Court of San Diego, California, San Diego. So now remember it was between Red Eagle the plentiful uh and then Marobio the secretary of state is defendant. Now this is the one who is appealing the secretary of state is the one appealing

for the decision. So because of that you cannot continue to carry the court's decision because the court of appeal hasn't made a decision. So they have requested for what we call the stay the order of stay. So this is what I'm going to read to you. So they start here. October 14, 2026, the district court

entered preliminary injunction requiring the department of state to reopen the DV 20 uh 27. The court ordered the department of state to announce the registration by October 29 and the registration to start on November 1st and the people who are going to be winners to be notified not later than December 3. That was the decision.
