the incredible story of the Kaaba.

The narrations regarding the construction of the Kaaba tell us a very deep and exemplary journey. When Hz. Adam (peace be upon him) and our mother Eve were descended from heaven to earth , they were left in separate places. After years of searching, they met at Arafat. They walked west together and finally arrived at the place where the Kaaba is located today.

It was right here that Hz. Adam (peace be upon him) wanted to worship his Lord in gratitude for this reunion . However, he was missing something. The luminous milk that he had circumambulated while in Paradise was no longer with him. He opened his hands and prayed. He asked his Lord to bless that milk again.

According to narration, his prayer was accepted. A luminous milk appeared there. And Hz. Adam (peace be upon him) circumambulated it and prayed. Time passed. During the time of Imam Shi'ite (peace be upon him), that column of light disappeared. Only a black stone remained. Thereupon, Imam Shi'ite (peace be upon him) built a four-sided building there

and placed the stone in its corner. This is the stone we know today as the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad). Years later, Noah's Great Flood came. The waters covered the Kaaba, and the building remained hidden under the sand for a long time. Finally, by God's command, Imam Ibrahim (peace be upon him) came there with his son Ishmael (peace be upon him).
