TIAGO PURE VS PURE + | Which Variant you should choose ? The Automobile India

Hello guys, welcome to the Automobile India. I am Kamal Yadav. Today brother, two Tiagos are standing with me. This is the most value for money variant of Tiago. Look brother, Tiago is an entry level car and only those who have a low budget go for these cars. We have not bought its base variant yet

because you will have to spend more money on the base variant. So I've removed the base variant here. I have with me the Pure variant which is the second base and this is the Pure Plus which is the third base. The price of this car is ₹5,49,000 ex-showroom for Pure and ₹5,49,000 ex-showroom for Pure Plus.

If you want to know the on-road price, please tell us the name of your city. I will tell you brother, how much this car is going to cost in your city. The rate I just told you is the rate of petrol. If you want CNG then you will have to pay ₹1,00,000 more for this

and ₹1,00,000 more for this. Now you will also get automatic along with CNG. Automatic will also be available with petrol. If you want to buy any automatic in both petrol and CNG, then you will have to pay ₹50,000 extra for petrol and ₹50,000 extra for CNG automatic. In this video, I will tell you

which of these two variants is going to be more value for money for you because there is a difference of only ₹50,000 between the two variants and what extra things do you get in this variant for ₹50,000 and if you want to save ₹50,000 then we will talk about what things you get in this variant. The

colour of this Tata is the best in the segment colour and once you see it from the front, this colour looks very beautiful. The black inserts stand out a lot with this color. So personally, I like this colour of Tata very much. Now if we talk about the features, both the vehicles look exactly the same from the front. Dual

barrel you get halogen headlights. LED turn indicators are available. You do not get any DRLs in this variant. You will not get fog lamps in this variant either, as you can see you will not get any difference in it. Now, if we talk about the side, then in both the cars you get 14-inch steel rims with wheel

caps which are of glossy black color. Now, they look really cute with this color and a little less nice with this one. You can adjust the ORVMs electrically in both the vehicles. You will not be able to fold them electrically. In both the cars, you will have to fold the ORVMs manually. Now let's come to the side. The

door handles inside both the cars are the ones you get and their design pattern is quite cute here. The chrome inserts on the top end look really nice. You get disc brakes at the front , drum brakes at the rear and the rear profile is exactly the same for both the vehicles. The rear

lights are LED setup. Both the vehicles are exactly the same. Let's talk about features. At the top, you get a shark fin antenna in glossy black. And you get GPS inbuilt inside this shark fin antenna. The screen will run the map and from here it will scan its GPS. GPS is normally installed inside the dashboard in vehicles but what has Tata done

? The GPS is mounted higher up, so the higher frequencies of the GPS will work better. If we talk about Pure, you will not find any shark fin antenna inside Pure. You will have to tighten the normal antenna that comes with it. You get the same normal antenna here. Rear defogger can be found here. We also get a rear defogger

in the Pure Plus variant but you won't find any wiper-like features here. And if we look a little down, you can see that there is a camera installed here. So you get this camera inside Pure Plus. It is going to help a lot in reverse parking. If we look inside Pure, no camera has been inserted here.

You can see that there is no camera installed here. Brother, if we talk about parking sensors, then you get two parking sensors in almost all Tata cars and this lamp is halogen. As soon as you put it in reverse gear, you get this lamp to brighten the rear area and here also you get the same two parking

sensors. Here also you will get halogen and reflector, you can see that you get very big size reflectors inside the vehicle. You won't find any electromagnetic button to open the boot. If you want to open the boot, if you have the Pure Plus variant or the Pure variant, then you will have to

open the boot by going above the driver's seat. I feel a little bit lacking, friend. You are doing a good job by making such a premium car but this one button, the electromagnetic button, should have been provided. So let's talk about boot space, you get around 242 liters of boot space. You will not get any parcel tray in this variant

or even in that variant. That means you will not get parcel tray in Pure Pure Plus. Talking about stepney wheel, yes, you will definitely get a stepney wheel. There will be a 13-inch tyre because the base variant comes with 13-inch tyres, hence the spare tyre will be the same as the base variant.

You don't get any features in the boot , nor do you get any boot lamps inside the lower trims. You definitely get a boot lamp in the top end. You should check out this Pure Plus once, you will get the same thing in Pure Plus also. You get a stepney wheel here as well, and the same

13-inch tyre is available here as well. Parcel tray is not available here either. But this color, I personally like it a lot. So all these things are closed brother, you are seeing this black color, this is recycled plastic. Tata is saying that brother, we have recycled the sea waste and in some places,

they have used Tata plastic for these parts. So Tata is very conscious about the environment. So brother, this was the boot space of our car. Now let's go to the second row. Before we go there, let me show you this fuel lid one more time. You will have to open the fuel lid

from the driver's side and you can fill petrol from here. If you buy the CNG variant, then you will also get the nozzle for installing CNG here. So if your fuel lid is open inside the CNG vehicle, then your vehicle will stop, it will not start and as soon as you close it, your vehicle

starts. Look, before you sit in the second row, let me show you the door once. The door gets you something like this. I get a soft touch brother. Who gives soft touch inside an entry level hatchback, man? Tata is taking very good care of its customers. Because here, as soon as you place the cone, it will

not prick inside the plastic. And the overall finish of the door looks quite good. You get glossy black here. Power windows are available in all four Pure Plus and Pure variants. You will get the same door setup in the Pure variant also. A bottle holder is available. Here you get four speakers in this variant.

In the Pure variant, you get only two speakers. This means that you get speakers only inside the front windows. So let's sit inside and see what features Tata offers us here. So brother, as soon as I sat inside this seat, the first thing that caught my eye was this part. As I told you, Tata is

using recycled plastic. You get the same thing here. You get small dots in this plastic part. So Tata is using the same recycled plastic here. You can look at the space, brother. My height is 5 feet 8 inches and the thigh support is also perfect for me. I'll get the headrest fixed here.

But I would think the headroom is a little less. If the person is 6 feet tall, then his poor head is definitely going to touch the ceiling. No magazine holders are available here. You will get fabric all the seat upholstery. And you don't get things like armrests here. The good thing that comes with it is a

three-point seat belt for each person. And child mount seat with ISOFIX is also available here. That's a good thing. If I want to charge my phone while sitting on the rear seat, I will not find any charging socket. Directly there is a 12 volt power socket which is provided here above the armrest area in the middle.

And when it comes to lights, there are no cabin lamps above the rear seats. There is only one cabin lamp which is provided at the front. So this is what you get in Pure and Pure Plus, both the cars have exactly the same rear seat, rear doors. But all four power windows are available in it

and are available here also. The setup that you get inside the car means you will also get curtain airbags and airbags are available inside these seats and in the front you will get airbags above the dashboard. You will get this as standard in both the vehicles. You are going to get six airbags from the base variant.

Look brother, now I am showing you the pure variant and you can see its door on the driver's side. You will get the same soft touch here also and this pattern that you are seeing looks very cute. You get all four power windows. You get it with down function and you can see that a little glossy silver

color has been used here. This part is of a little study quality which is available here. The Sierra's was a little more wobbly but you get a pretty good one. You can say this is the antenna. Such an antenna will be available in the Pure variant. We will tighten this to whatever is on the roof. A bottle

holder is available. You will be able to easily keep a 1/2 litre bottle here. Now let me show you one thing. The driver's seat also comes with the feature of adjusting the seat height. If I am short in height, then I can comfortably set the seat height of my car so that I can see the entire road. So this

is the pure variant, so you will definitely get this thing in Pure Plus. Now come closer once. Look at the steering wheel, brother. You will get a D-cut shaped steering wheel. Steering mounted controls are available and some controls are available here. Look, these controls are music related controls but there is no music system installed inside the car. Now here

I am telling the mind of Tata that how did Tata get these buttons for its customers. You will not find any music system but look at this screen brother. This instrument cluster is quite smart. You get Bluetooth connectivity inside this. You get two speakers inside the car, so you can play songs, answer calls and disconnect calls from this screen. Let me

show you the placement of the mic once. Look here. The mic has been placed here. So, this thing about Tata, I like it very much that Tata is taking such good care of its customers that the customers do not have to spend even a single penny outside. Until you get that screen installed,

you can make do with this system. So if we talk about steering adjustment, then you can adjust the steering up and down. You will not be able to adjust the steering on your side. You do not get any automatic headlamps, automatic rain sensing wipers etc. in this variant. So brother, all these things happened here. Let me

show you the center console one more time. Look brother, you get only a little space above in the name of central console. In this you can keep your phone horizontally. If you keep it vertical, your phone will fall. So if you want to use any map etc., you can use it comfortably by keeping the phone tilted.

This part that you are seeing is soft touch and everywhere else you will find plastic. It looks like rubber , but it is completely plastic brother. And this screen is very small. The dashboard is absolutely neat and clean, you are going to get a very beautiful dashboard in this car. You can see the AC vents.

You will find the complete AC setup in the centre here. AC with heater is available. And this button, you get it for rear defogger. I had just turned on the hazard lamps, so a slightly different sound is coming. The chime of the hazard lamp has changed now. Earlier it used to be tak tak tak

, but now see a soft sweet sound is coming from inside it. These ones. Now let's look below. You can find the air circulation button here. Below the AC button, you get two pads, on which rubber is applied. You can keep your two phones here like this. So this is a good thing you are going to get, friend. This

means it is a useful feature. If you want to keep two of your phones , you can keep them here. These will not fall anywhere in the shock. A manual gearbox is available. Automatic is also available with petrol. Automatic is also available with CNG, so you can take both as per your convenience.

So all these things happened here. Two cup holders are available. Manual you're going to get a handbrake. You do not get any armrests in this variant. If I show you above , your IRVM will come with day night mode. Above you are going to get the LED cabin lamp , which we have currently set above the door. The

mic is placed here and here we have the passenger airbag on or off. You will find its warning light here. There is no vanity mirror provided for the passenger and if I show you the glow box, you will get a decent sized glow box. You do not get any cold glow box feature in this variant.

Things are done with the Pure variant. Now let's move inside the Pure Plus variant. So brother, you have seen its pure variant. You also get six airbags inside the Pure variant. You get ABS EBD. You won't get hill descent control and you won't get electronic stability program. I will talk about that after

going inside the Pure Plus variant. Now brother, I am sitting inside the Pure Plus variant. The door and seating functions are going to be exactly the same. I adjust the seat to my liking. Will things get different? We are going to talk about that too. See. I will turn on the car. Brother, as soon as you

sit inside the car, the first difference you will see is this screen. Here inside the dashboard which I showed, there was a completely neat and clean dashboard inside the Pure variant. Here you can see that a lot of big screens have been added here. We will talk about this later. First let's talk about the steering wheel.

You will get the same steering wheel here but one extra thing is added and that is the cruise control. You get cruise control in the Pure Plus variant. If you travel a lot on highways then this thing will be useful for you. You will get the manual. You get manual rain sensing wipers.

You will also get beans. You will not be able to adjust the steering on your side. I am closed. Look at this. There is the instrument cluster, now here you will not be able to connect your phone via Bluetooth because you get this screen. You get an 8-inch HD quality display, which is amazing, brother.

Wireless Android Auto, Wireless Apple Car Play will be available here. There are four speakers inside the car. You get a music system of quite decent quality. I have posted the quality of its music system on my Instagram. Go there and definitely check what kind of sounds are produced inside this vehicle. Everything is done

here and we have already seen its user interface. Tata's music system does not lag anywhere and you get the same music system in their Harrier and Safari products also. You get some buttons out here that are shortcuts to speed up or down the volume. I will turn this off. Yes. Things happened. Below this music system

you get manual AC. You won't get any automatic AC in this variant either and you still get time here. AC vents are available. The rest of the overall dashboard will remain the same. This soft touch is given here. If we talk about this, then this mirror will also be available with day and night mode.

You get the same cabin lamp here. The placement of the mic has been done here only. Two charging pads charging pads given sorry these are just rubber pads. You can keep your phone here. You will only get charging at the top end of petrol. That too, you will be able to charge only one phone wirelessly. So

here, there is no wireless charging feature in this variant or in these variants, at least not in CNG. Doesn't even fit inside an EV. You will get it only in the top end of petrol. There is a five-speed manual gearbox. You can also opt for AMT here by paying ₹50,000 extra. And this is your two cup holders. You get a 12-volt

charging socket here for the people sitting in the rear and you get some space at the back. You can keep some stuff in it. There is no armrest even in the Pure Plus variant. If we talk about the globe box, you get the same size globe box. Look, the AC vents have been

installed with a slight curve. The dashboard has been designed to allow more air to flow over the passenger. All these other things happened. I have told you all the features of the interiors. A little change has been made here in terms of safety. Let's talk about that outside. So brother, as I was telling you, some changes have been made

in Pure Plus in terms of safety. Inside the Pure Plus, you get Electronic Stability Program which is very important. If you take even a slight turn at high speed, this car will stabilize itself. And the second one is hill descent control. That means if you are driving the car down a slope, the car

automatically tries to brake. You get that feature in this variant. So two things increased in terms of safety. A screen gets added to your features. Nowadays, if you go out in your car, what is the first thing you do? Run the map. So the map is now a little bit into the essentials.

I find the screen to be more value for money. And then the third point is the camera that has been installed to back the vehicle. That means as soon as we put the reverse gear on, the rear camera starts working, that is also an essential thing. It is useful for children to avoid falling behind the vehicle. Newbies who are

learning to drive need a parking camera a lot. So this is also a very good feature. If you get all these things done from outside then you will easily spend ₹50,000. So if you are buying a car then do n't look at ₹50,000. There will be no need to lift the Pure Plus variant
