about as we have seen one physiological condition that is the prebital age and the we will see the second half the second stream of physiological condition that is menopause. We are much interested into menopause separately because menopause has its own uh symptom profile and the long-term complications uh which are due to the
long-term estrogen deficiency because in men they have testosterone which is lifelong with them because the test are secretreting them lifelong and there all the protective mechanisms are linked to testosterone. But for a female unfortunately we just have estrogen to depend on and our estrogen will be not be like like it will be till the time we
get our menstrual cycle and maybe few more years in the transition phase. It's not like that when you stop your menstrual cycle the estrogen is suddenly getting withdrawn from your body. It's not like that. Even though the estrogen is not sufficient to stimulate the endometrium, it is still sufficient to maintain its function in the body. So
that much estrogen our body is secretreting although we are not getting the menstrual cycle. So in some female it may be sufficient for 3 years in some females maybe 5 years like that. But yes eventually we will be estrogen deficient. And as we know that our bone health, our cardiac health, our mental
health, our sexual health, many things in a female, some of our uh uh like aesthetic part like hair and skin and everything is dependent on the estrogen. So when we suffer the deficiency, we will come up with the symptoms. Okay. So that's why it is very important how to handle those symptoms in menopause.
