Inside the switchboard here, I'll just start from the left and move move along. We've got a our main switch. 63 amp and we've got a 20 amp circuit breaker for wall oven, air con 20 amp, got a uh 63 amp double pole RCD. Then we have a 32 amp for a spa, one
power circuit, one power circuit, both 16 amp circuit breakers. And we've got an RCBO 10 amp here for the lighting. One thing that you want to do is have a good conversation with the customer and work it out exactly that you want protected on the generator circuit. Remember, it's only for emergency power,
so it's not like you just want to put the whole house every single time. So, just work out exactly what would be critical if you lost power for 4 hours or even 8 hours. What items would you like? But definitely lights, definitely the two power circuits in this situation. Do we need the spa?
Probably not. You can go without the spa. The spa's actually not on at the moment, so that's even more reason why we can actually take that off. Uh the wall oven. Look, there's plenty of places where you can actually cook. There's also gas cooking in here, so um they should be able to get out of
trouble. If it is a stinking hot day, the air con, so it's probably not a bad idea to get the air con on it as well. We are lucky we've got a 32 amp supply on the generator. So, that's what we're going to do. We're going to set up the air con, two power circuits and the light.
That should be enough. If you do have the air con on, then you'll just have to gauge exactly what sort of power things that you're going to have. Look, it should be able to keep your fridge going, a TV, but you just have to be careful turning toasters and kettles on. You'd probably turn the air con off.
