Peace be upon you, O my master, O Messenger of God, and upon your oppressed family.

Peace be upon you and upon your daughter Fatima al-Zahra, the one with the broken rib. Peace be upon her whose rib was broken and whose fetus was lost. Peace be upon her whose grave was forgotten. Ahmad left behind no one but his son, and how often did the people openly entrust her to him. She endured

after her father, the Chosen One, a grief so profound that if it touched a mountain, it would melt. She wept for her father, saying, "Let her weep night or day." Who sought to wrong her? Who terrified her? Who set fire to her doors? [A cry] How long will the angels kiss her thresholds and the walls? The

people attacked her, and do not ask about what happened. Do not forget how they broke her rib. Ask the door and the wall about her. Ask the pearls of her earrings, which were scattered, and the eye that did not weep repeatedly. Ask her thresholds about Muhsin, how his blood was spilled there unjustly. The

people of the nail sought revenge for her, so tomorrow, in her chest, they will seek vengeance. And the other will say, "Those who leaped to oppress the family of Muhammad." And Muhammad, Muhammad, lay without a shroud [sigh] and gathered my firewood at the house that would not have gathered were it not for the

unity of religion and those who entered the Virgin's house and caused her to miscarry her dearest fetus [sigh] and the two leaders before them with their shields and purity calling behind them, " O
