Romans chapter [music] 8. I love, I love the book of Romans. What's more, I've been saying it all day and it's worth repeating. [Music] If you're new to the faith, if you've only been walking with the Lord for a short time, less than 6 months, I want to encourage you to read the

book of Romans, especially chapters 5 through 9, because [Music] these chapters and portions of the Bible speak volumes, teach us a lot about the grace of God, teach us a lot about all that we have in Christ [Music] and how we can live our life of faith. It is a portion of the

Bible that if you allow the information it communicates to become a revelation in your life, you will never be the same person. That's how it is. And that's why I want to encourage you to read Romans 5 through 9. And today we're going to go into three verses, [music] a short but powerful passage

found in Romans chapter 8. We read these words from verse 14 to 17 . For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. And you, speaking to us, [music] did not receive a spirit that again enslaves you to fear. [music] My people, let us remember that the Spirit of

God does not enslave, He liberates. Liberate, he says, "But the Spirit who adopts them as children and enables them to cry out, Abba, Father, [music] which means Daddy, Daddy God, but it goes far beyond a nice saying. It speaks of closeness, of intimacy, it speaks of access, it speaks of our position as children of

God, where we can approach and say, ' Daddy God, I need you.' He continues , saying, the Spirit himself, speaking of the Holy Spirit, assures our spirit, the human spirit, that we are children of God. What are children of God? Now, with even more desire, what are we? Children of God. Verse 17. And if we are children, then
