Well, first of all, I want to thank everyone who is sharing this space with me. As has been

mentioned, my name is Charles Castro, I am a professor in the Master's program in Sustainability and Circular Economy, and I am very happy to be here with you. In this time that we have together, we are going to explore some recent trends in corporate sustainability management that I believe represent a significant change in the

management approach of companies. This change—the most important part of this change in the management approach—is a focus on the identification, quantification, valuation, and management of the environmental and social impacts of companies.
