Uh, and speaking of AI, I did want to get you react first to this story that came across our desk this morning. Scoop from Axios. Top executives at Anthropic. Open AI and other AI companies are privately gaming

out scenarios for a public and political revolt after a catastrophic AI event. Those events that they are um considering include a shutdown of financial systems and even of water and electricity. Uh, William, what do you make of that? Well, it's very alarming. Um, you know, I've been a leader here in Michigan, uh, standing with residents

fighting back against data centers for the last year. And, uh, here's how it's gone. When the AI lawyers and PR agents come to town, they say, basically, we're here to come suck up all your uh, water, use all your energy, more than the city of Detroit. We're going to ruin your home values, but if everything goes

well, we're going to put 20 million people out of work. And if everything but if we mess up, we might kill everybody by accident. I I don't know. It just hasn't been very persuasive. And this is another example of uh the question people are asking. Why is it that we're building these data centers

when they're saying that it may be used to shut down the entire financial system or create a bioweapon? The costs simply outweigh the benefits. >> Mhm. Mhm.
