This lecture was announced with the help of another external lecturer, Dr. Ahmed Fouad, who teaches at the Faculty of Medicine. Some of his lectures were used for certain points, including the topic of sulfonamides and tetracyclines, based on the request of many students for an explanation. So, I will include this part for you, God willing. Of

course, the tetracycline group and the sulfonamide group, my friends, are among the groups that follow the antibiotic and anti- infective drugs. If we talk about tetracyclines, the word tetra means "four" in Latin, meaning it contains four cycline atoms. Now, there are two types of tetracyclines that belong to this large category. Tetracyclines are of which there are The capsules come in

250 and 500 mg doses, and the recommended adult dose is given every six hours.

This includes Doxycycline (the scientific name is Doxopharm or Doxocycline). It also comes in 100 mg capsules, given as For First, 10 mg Q12 or Full By tablets, and 1 mg Twice Adily. We don't specify the exact dosage for either of these. However, when I say doxocycline, you should mention tetracycline. Tetracycline belongs directly to the same

group. This group is bacteriostatic, meaning it inhibits bacterial growth, not kills it. It works against bacterial reproduction, stopping its multiplication, division, or growth. It is not bacteriostatic. The word " tetra" in Latin means "for" or "for." We have four hydrocarbon rings, and that's how it's called in the scientific structure. If we analyze it under a microscope
