Hi everyone and welcome to the Complete DSA series in which we are going to do our next lecture today. Now in this lecture we will cover many important concepts like our bitwise operators, like scope of a variable or modifying our data type. Apart from this, if we want to study any other concept in DSA, then it will be
available to us in this playlist on this channel. If we want, we can go and learn it. [Music] So let's start with our chapter. We are basically going to cover a lot of miscellaneous concepts in this chapter. The first concept of this is bitwise operators. We have already covered the binary number system in the last lecture. Bitwise
operators perform operations on the binary form of our numbers, like for example, first of all let's talk about our bitwise AND operator. We call it bitwise AND operator. Now there are many concepts of bitwise AND and logical AND. It is similar, like for example, if we take one row bit, we take one row bit, then the end of both will be
zero. If we take one row bit, we take one, then the end of both will also be zero. If we take the end of one and row bit, so this is also going to be zero. Only the end of one and one bit gives us one. So this whole logic, this is very similar to the
logical AND operator which we already covered. For example, if we take two numbers, let's suppose a = 4 and b = 8, and we want to calculate a and b, then what will we have as the answer? The binary form of a, that is, the binary form of 4 is 100. The binary form of 8 is 1.
So what will we do? We will try to take the end of both. If there is a mismatch in the number of bits here, then what can we do? We can make both equal by adding the zeros in the front of the number. Now when we take the end of both, how will things
