Sell Your Knowledge Can Make You Rich (Works For Any Industry!)

How did you know what you had was valuable to the world? >> I don't think there's a simple answer to that. I think there's a complex answer to it, but the overarching answer to all of it is the market tells you. Like you get feedback from putting reps out, putting information, sharing with

the world, and it tells you your greatest hits. It tells you what you should do more of. It tells you like where you should lean in and where you should pull back. And so the ability to just show up and serve up, show up and serve, show up and serve, show up and serve, you start to

realize what you got that you should do more of and what you should do less of, and then you start studying other industries and realize the same pattern is true. Music business is the same, movie business is the same, like sporting business is the same. You only see like this much of somebody's body of

work, and like somebody says, "I love so-and-so as an artist." And they like three of their songs, and they know none of their back catalog. >> Yeah. >> They just love three of their songs and decide that they love the artist as a whole. Is you have to put more out in the world to realize you have something

of value. And you also have to realize that much of what you ship is just fine. It's not great. It's not awesome. It's not amazing. It's not legacy. It's fine. But to find the gold, you have to put enough out. >> Where do you wrestle the tension between like, "Okay, I have something valuable." and other

people telling you it's valuable? Cuz I think what's happening based on a lot of the people I'm helping and I see how it's like, "I want to do this. This is how I want to show up for the world, how I want to serve the world in in in the which and way I want to do it."
