Hello, in this video we're going to work on the foundational text for a political philosophy of psychoanalysis that we wrote together with Andrea Torrano and Germán Gaceta. What is this text about? We're going to try to see what the fundamental concepts are in order to better understand it and why it's in this unit. The

text deals precisely with developing an ontology, an ontology of scientific praxis, and that's what we're going to try to explain. [Music] Science has normally been approached, and we've seen this with Khan, from epistemology, and epistemology has precisely had the role of being a discourse that seeks the legitimation of science, and that's clearly present in Khan. Khan

seeks to resolve what the conditions were that made science possible, and he doesn't ask whether science is a true discourse, whether it's true knowledge. No, no, no, that's Khan's problem. He starts from scientific knowledge and wants to legitimize that, and for that he goes to the transcendental subject. So basically, that legitimation consisted

of establishing the conditions of possibility and separating the natural causal realm from the normative realm. That is to say, the natural causal realm is the scientific realm that studies the Nature and the normative sphere, the sphere of ethics, but here in this text we separate ourselves from this objective of legitimizing some kind of discourse and

instead of epistemology we will prefer to speak of ontology, but we must be clear here that we are not talking about the ontologies of science, the ontologies of the sciences, those that we experienced when we saw the work on perspective, those that define Table 6, which reduce reality, objectivity, each ontological scientific theory, which will
