I forgot this is all any video wow that's weird okay hey guys it's me I'm back with another video it's actually the same day for me but hey today is going to be part 2 of chapter 3 of the women who run with wolves book we're just running into the second task of

initiating your intuition so if you guys are excited about this video so that you're excited about more videos in the woman who run with the wolves series then go ahead and subscribe to my channel because I will be posting videos on this part of the chapter every single day until we're done with this chapter

crude shadow in the book the little overview says learning even more mindfully to let go of the overly positive mother finding that being good being sweet and being nice will not cause life to sing fossilize that becomes a slave but it doesn't help experiencing directly one's own shadow nature particularly the exclusionary jealous and exploitative aspects of self

the stepmother and stepsisters acknowledging these unequivocally making the best relationship one can with the worst parts of oneself letting the pressure build between one who is taught to be and one who really is ultimately working towards letting the old self die and the new intuitive self be born so obviously this is about the period in

the book where boss slices father gets remarried and she becomes kind of like a slave to her stepsisters and stepmother kind of like a little Cinderella ish story though although in this story the stepmother in the steps there's actually represent a darker more petty and undesirable not youthful side of the inner psyche they're like shadow

elements of the inner psyche in the book it says in this stage of initiation a woman is harassed by the petty demands of her psyche which extort her to comply with whatever anyone wishes compliance causes a shocking realization that must be registered by all women that is to be ourselves causes us to be exiled by many

others and yet to comply with what others want causes us to be exiled from ourselves it is a tormenting tension and it must be born but the choice is clear I will repeat that because that hit me to be ourselves causes us to be exiled by many others and yet to comply with what

others want causes us to be exiled from ourselves y'all disconnected I think this is interesting is an interesting part for me because it like hits home really well for the first time in my life when I left home when I was 17 I moved off to college I went to a school in Malibu

California and I actually it was a Christian college but it was odd because I mean I think this is probably true of all Christian colleges like obviously the students were crazy oh and so I just honestly I feel like that whole year was a whole lot of this I I went back and forth of trying to

figure out how to not just be compliant with what others weren't and also have friends and also just not really recognizing that I wasn't fully aware of my intuition I that I hadn't been initiated and so I can just really recognize that this is a stage that women go through where you just constantly feel like you don't know

what's right for your life so you're just listening to everybody else to figure it out this was my stage where I called my girlfriend's every two seconds to figure out every decision that I made and I think that I was highly led in this period by this deeper inner part of myself like the stepmothers and the

stepsisters that just felt unworthy and felt I'm undateable to like help anybody or do anything and just unaware of any responsibility to the world and just won't end up not really like knowing what to do it's just an ugly part of my psyche like a hidden I shouldn't say ugly there's no ugly parts of your

psyche but just a shadow part a part that I don't liked to be so out in the open um but that exists within all of us excise the step family and the psyche is different from the soul family for it is of the super-ego that aspect of psyche which is structured according to each

particular society's expectations healthy or not for women these cultural that is super-ego overlays and injunctions are not experienced by women as emanating from the soul/self/psyche but are spelt as if they come from out there from some other source which is not innate thus cultural / super-ego overlays can be very positive or they can be very

detrimental yes 100% the taunts and the pressures of the outside world - vos eliza causes her undefended soul to effectively be crippled and without any direction from herself many of us suffer from the stifling of our own psyche during or before our initiation process it causes us paradigms and complexes that we don't

even realize we have until my later for instance I just realized recently that I have kind of a paradigm about jus just like sex and this complex about sex I'll actually share it with you guys I wasn't expecting to share this with you guys but basically I have to be a little careful here because I

don't want to divulge anyone's privacy but when I was a very young girl a woman very close to me divulged a story of her own past that basically was my first like kind of introduction to sexual violence and the fact that that could happen I think I was like 11 years old when this happened and like when I when

she told me the story and basically my reaction to it um which I've always been ashamed though that ever since it happened I thought like very angry at her because immediately I thought that if she had just not not wanted it then she wouldn't be a victim right now is that god that

sounds so terrible coming out of my actual mouth and absolutely it's completely victim shaming I'm saying that this is the wrong point of view um but that was my thought as a child and I think from that very very early thought I came to the conclusion that the way that I would keep myself from ever being

in that situation was always being willing and wanting to have that happen no matter what like whenever I was with the guy I don't think he would mind me saying but basically in my relationship now from a long time in our relationship and like often off and on or beffort we're just we've taken many breaks from having

sex for different like emotional and spiritual reasons and I have found it so beautiful and so necessary because like the more that I talk about it and open up with him about it and like understand it the more I realized how much of like my reasons for wanting to have sex so long throughout my life never had

anything to do with the person that I was like having sex with like so often it wasn't about that and like I was telling him that like literally this morning he's gonna tell you guys this I just think that like so many of our motivations for the things that we do are not pure and I'm coming

to this point in my life where I just really want my motivation to do things to be completely pure and of my own intuition and of my own heart and soul which brings me back to the book and I just basically just feel like so often my real motivation for things has been

from that super-ego place of like that petty place of like wanting validation that my body is sexy or wanting validation that he won't cheat on me or wanting just like just like so many reasons to want to have sex other than just wanting to love on the person that I with because that is the only reason

that you should ever really want to do it basically any of those things that we're really coming deep down from like a petty place show me that like my motives weren't in the right place you know therefore my intuition wasn't completely intact so and this part in the track for your boss Lysa is feeling

first step family which is the inner shadow feelings of the psyche it says in the book we are too pinched off when the stuff family within us and are surrounding us and/or surrounding us tell us that we are not much to begin with and insists we focus on our shortcomings rather than perceiving the

cruelty whirling around us B is emanating from within our psyches or from without our coach without in the culture however to see into or through something requires intuition and also the strength to stand upon what one sees light vassilisa we may try to be nice when we ought to be knowing we may have

been taught to set aside a cute insight in order to get along however the reward for simply being nice in oppressive circumstances is to be mistreated all the more although a woman feels that if she is herself she will alienate others it is just the psychic tension that is needed in order to make

soul and create change I just feel like this is so true like I was saying about Braylon actually in the whole um sexting not really related to the whole sex thing but just basically our relationship because I am only like 21 right and he's young too he's only 22 and one thing that I have just

recognized about this is having intuition means that I cannot ignore it I have to call out those petty times and feelings within me and how I act within them and I also have to be call out his own and what he does and be open and honest that's the only way I relationship will truly thrive because

if we begin being dishonest with each other now it's not gonna last any period of time um and I feel like this is something that like I definitely definitely struggle with because personally when I get irritated by things my first thought is to completely throw it away but if I love that thing

then I find a way to be distracted so when it Braylon I get irritated with him and literally before I even consciously think about it he'll say something that irritates me and I immediately switch off like I immediately just completely distract myself from him and don't even hear him anymore or nobody's there

because and I don't even realize why it happened like I'm just irritated by something and I can't even like remember what it was that you just irritated me so I just moved on that's something that I like really have to like learn not to do because that just keeps like an air of non communicating with each other and

not communicating what's really going on so that he has the even the ability to understand oh it could change you know and it's also interesting that the stepmother and the stepsisters were the ones to scheme to get rid of both Eliza it's the same within your own psyche your own psyche will be the one to

scheme and put you in a situation too too difficult to handle so that your bad side has to come out the book says still the stepmother and stepsisters scheme to spend vassal I so away they secretly plot go into the forest box Eliza go to Baba Yaga and if you survive aha which you won't then we

might accept you this is a very critical idea because many women are stuck halfway through the initiation process sort of hanging in and sort a half out of the loop although there is a natural predator of the spiky the one who says die and fast and why don't you give up on a rather automatic basis the culture

in which a woman lives and the family in which she was raised can painfully exasperate that natural but moderate naysaying aspect in the psyche for instance women who are raised in families that are not accepting of their gifts often set off and tremendously big quests over and over and they do not know why they feel they must have three

PhDs or that they have to hang upside down from now Everest or that they must execute all manners of dangerous time-consuming and money eating endeavor in order to prove to their families that they have work now will you accept me no okay what's it the set the step family ganglia of course belongs to us by

whichever means we receive it and it is our work to deal with them with it in an empowered manner however we can see that for the deep work to continue trying to prove one's work to a chorus of jealous hags is pointless and as we shall see the fact impedes the initiation to hide your

truth only creates a pressure cooker with it and your truth consists of your feelings as well about things so if you want to complain about things to hide that within yourself is killing you from the inside when vassilisa did all of her chores with no complaint she effectively created the pressure cooker of her

intuition which needed a spout to pour out its initiation so she basically started her own initiation um she created the scare big enough for her psyche to push her out into the forest and force her into the woods to be initiated so sometimes it's good for that psyche inside of you to really

really push you to the edge in fact you have to let it push you to the edge if you have those voices inside of you telling you you can't you can't you can't let that be the edge and start your initiation process any woman who is making her deeper feelings invisible by not complaining by not showing her truth

is allowing the step family of her psyche to kill her fire but not going into the woods because she is burning on the inside she cannot be everyone's door nut she'll only burn their feet okay uh that was end of part two chapter three of women who with Wolf's I hope you guys enjoy that
