The ancient dense forests of Sri Lanka hold secrets that the entire world is unaware of [music]. I have come here to search for some species [music] that science is still unaware of. But I am not alone. Accompanying me on this mission is one of Sri Lanka's top conservation biologists, Dr. Ranil Nana Yakkara.

[Music] I know it's frustrating when I see news reports about forests being cut down in Hasdeo. Forests are being cut in Nicobar. Be it Delhi or Mumbai, such news is heard from everywhere. And I can't do much other than making videos. Raised my voice, got the petition signed. But there is frustration that even after doing something we are not able to save these forests.

So I thought friends, if forests cannot be saved in India, then I should try my best wherever forests can be saved. Today's video is an attempt in that direction.
