The new 5.8 city demo has released and this one's made with PCG and the AI MCP plugin. And I want to kind of take a look at kind of what's going on here and kind of give my thoughts as someone that has done a lot with PCG. Is any of this actually useful for the average person?
What are they doing? How are they doing it? And kind of see what parts of this can we get any information from or is this just purely for AI? And if you don't use AI, you basically can't use any of it. And the reality is it's mostly the latter, but we can still get
some information from it. So, let's dive in. The first thing to note here is I've downloaded the city sample here. This is the 5.8 version specifically, but the actual level isn't actually in the content section. It's under plugins, city sample PCG content, and then levels. This is this L city sample PCG demo. If you don't see the plugins
folder, just go to the gear icon right over here. Just click on it and make sure you have engine and plugin content enabled and then you should be able to see it and be able to get in here. But, I'm not going to be spending too much time in this one. I'm going to go inside
of the examples folder and there's another one under city. So, this one has a different one. So, this is just a smaller section basically of the entire thing. And honestly, it's just a little bit easier on the computer. So, I want to kind of talk about this one. Because at first glance, this seems really,
really awesome. Right? We get a city. But, there's so many caveats here that you really have to keep in mind. And so many shortcuts as well. First of all, the first thing I was interested in is intersections. Well, the intersections, yeah, there's no intersections. All of them are just splines. All of them are
