Welcome back to Heather's Historic House. Last time we went up the secret staircase leading to the old servants' quarters in the attic. So, shall we actually go in? This room would have once belonged to a servant. There are old pipes dumped everywhere and years and years of cobwebs. The door still has the original
key left in it. Now, what I found in this room isn't a sword or treasure or even anything tangible. It's something far more mysterious and definitely left by someone who occupied this room over 200 years ago. There are old pipes dumped everywhere, years and years of cobwebs, and a tiny little window. But, what stopped me in my tracks was
what I found on the walls. These paintings. Someone has actually painted these faces straight onto the plaster. And now I have so many questions. Who were they? Who are the people? And who was the servant that actually lived up here and painted them? Are these people who lived in the house? Are these pictures of servants? How long
have they been here? The house was built in 1824. And over the years, many, many servants would have lived in these rooms. So, it's really hard to know who would have designed them. What we do know is it's a really small space that they were living in. We still need to explore the second room
and see what's in here. But for now, who do you think she was?
