good morning it's good to see you I'm standing at murdog station which is my local train station to uh to go anywhere hopefully by the end of this video we'll be in tuban in a little hostel across the road from the airport it's fair to say I hadn't realized how difficult it becomes as you

get older to celebrate or enjoy your company over a red wine and I had somewhat of a red wine incident uh a couple of nights ago catching up with an an old friend than Woody um and hence there was no video today uh this is the second day after it and uh I'm still a

bit slow and it was a bit hard to drag the uh drag the legs out of bed this morning so it could be a bit of a long day a bit of a long travel day and I can't remember the last time that I um that I actually traveled hung over it's become habit now on the way to

uh the airport at any time of the day or night where uh I stop and get a coffee I'm actually feeling much better and I suspect it's not the coffee I suspect it's the anticipation of being back in barley again and maybe maybe that's the cure for your next hangover if you wake

up with a hangover just book a trip to Barley that'll sort it out I think I've mentioned it a few times in the past that um doesn't matter how old I get even at 57 now I uh I still have this great joy in going somewhere and it hasn't changed a bit I might have more

of an understanding or idea of where I'm going to but that um that sense of going that an excitement actually going is um been the same all my life it's got on the wrong train this one's going to Midland got to wait for the next one better be the one with the plane icon

booked opposite the airport in tuban uh I've got that for a couple of days and I think we'll probably take advantage of the location and and see a little bit of um Cuda leing and samon Yak hello how are you going today I'm good how are you I'll be much better when I find my

ticket oh okay and there we have it perfect thank you so much pretty well on time I think check-in is going to be about open now will'll um I'll be interested to see if I can Wrangle a window seat from jet star I've never had any well I tell a lie actually it did have success I've

got an emergency seat exit I see jet star Bangkok open and because I don't have checkin luggage them and ask if they can get me through to Barley hello how you going um I'm actually on JQ 1116 I have no check-in baggage I was wondering if You' be able to check me in it's really generous

thank you and um can I ask if the the plane is full today uh it's not too bad not too bad would I then be able to reest a window seat if there's one available can I um yes thank you that's really generous the emergency exit would you like that that would be really really

good thank you are you fit willing able to assist the crew exceedingly Sir with enthusiasm perfect candidate I am what was your name Shannon thanks Shannon some people are really suited to uh the work that they do and I get to sense you're one of them thank you have a really lovely day see you you

too so we got an emergency just by asking I I I I know I say this a lot but um you know maybe you want to roll that Dice and instead of booking your window seat or your preferred um seating option maybe hello love the oh oh are you subscribers yeah yeah oh thank you so

much this is one of the really lovely things I really enjoy about what I do and I I I wasn't aware that this was going to happen that I've grown to love this youtubing thing more and more because I get to make random strange can we talk oh yeah um so yeah look roll

that dice perhaps you you you are used to sort of paying for your window seat or your preferred seating option but I've just got an emergency exit for no for for not 30 for not 50 by just saying hey is the plane full today um it's not off is there a seat available and would

you like an emergency seat so anyway I'm going to talk to some subscribers got about an hour before boarding one of the things I'm finding a little bit inconsistent or unpredictable with um per airport is regardless of who I'm flying with invariably it's Air Asia or jet star um they're not asking or today

or the last couple of times they haven't asked for me to weigh my carry-on and they haven't asked for an onward flight or a return ticket and I've been through periods where they've done nothing but like for months they'll just constantly ask you to put your your carry on to be weighed and um they'll ask you to

present your your onward or uh return ticket but recently the last couple times they haven't bothered about it yeah it's just it's bit inconsistent bit unpredictable able to assist I'm so excited about well I shouldn't be so excited about helping in that situation should I I just told the lady I was really

excited at the opportunity to sit in an emergency R and the uh that suggests I'm rather looking for that suggests I'm looking forward to a rather eventful flight which isn't the case hello how you going hell how are you good well thanks thank you thanks so much I uh I was approached by a chap in

line waiting to get on the uh to get on the plane and introduced himself and he was someone who's watched the videos and as it turns out we're sitting next to each other this is Damian I've been following this guy on um on YouTube and look who I run into amazing lovely guy we both agreed that

we not looking for anyone to hold our hand on the way over because we're both tired both got a hang over and probably going to get some shut on

so we through the airport and onto uh the outside of the uh the terminal I've got about a uh I think it's about a 10-minute walk I've taken a place that's um taken a place for a night that's quite close not under any time constraints really so rather than have the hassle of going into Cuda or Le on 7

I'm just going to stay in tuban tuban uh for a night or two and uh yeah work it out from there it may have been just because I wasn't paying attention but um I didn't see the barley tax counter where I thought it was maybe I'm confused and um wasn't really looking for it but uh yeah that was that was

weird Le theyve changed the changed the location that's what the street says 97 got got a little bit less than that in the airport but that's how I do it and that's what I'm used to and that's what I'm comfortable with it's funny how we get into that that idea of you know this

is what I've always done that that habitual behavior when you're traveling that I really like actually even though I might be losing out financially or whatever um there's a comfort for me in that I know what I'm doing I do it this way all the time I don't have to think about anything different and that's

obviously got to change a little bit I think now after Rec after recent events but um I've got to find my street is it this street I think it is I've um booked a little capsule for uh two nights uh just I've been walking less than 5 minutes I think um do you all that

smelling of the SAT is good oh that smells so good it's good to be back um so yeah I've got myself a little capsule for a couple of nights just to decompress come in and uh relax so I think I'll be coming back here soon and getting something to eat then edit then

we've got to edit the video of course so we could be up a little while tonight I think what would be the time it probably be 9:30 maybe heading to 10 hello how are

you so this is the little little hostel I'm in get a little capsule 13 Australia know yeah
