If you're using the Pinterest Instagram claim feature to repost your content to Instagram, there's a major update and I am so excited to share it with you. I've actually hesitated telling people to autopublish their content to Pinterest and to do it in a more strategic way because it was lacking one of the things
that Pinterest just released with this new update, which we are going to get into. Truly, this new feature set within the Instagram claim functionality is going to change the way your content performs on Pinterest. So, let's actually first talk about why it matters. Number one, Instagram content publishing from Instagram through the claim feature to Pinterest has always
just kind of felt hit or miss because your content once upon a time used to link back to Instagram. I don't understand the user experience there or the customer journey why we would want to send them back to Instagram. It just made for a lot more leg work of having to update the content especially if you
wanted to promote a product or a blog post or a lead magnet or whatever. Autopublishing would also flood your feed especially if you were posting carousels on Instagram and they were importing over to Pinterest. It used to actually look a lot like this where you can see inside of the pink box all the
different little slides that go with the Pinterest for authors carousel. It's not great. Okay, that version was not great. Each individual carousel page linked back to that one Instagram post and the customer journey and the overall experience was just lost. This update finally closes the gap for creators who are autopublishing their content from
