Kyoto is surrounded by mountains, covering an area of approximately 84 km . [Music] This time, I'll be hiking the Kyoto Loop Trail over two days and one night . The course is designed to take you through mountains and towns, so you can periodically stop in towns to resupply . When the weather changes, you can quickly descend to the town, so it's recommended even for those new to long trails.
Uh, I just left Momoyama Station ( 5 train cars away) at 8:30 and have started walking.
