Okay, I think we can get started. Hello everyone, my name is Yuan. I'm the host for Healthcare AI forum and this forum has been uh going on for a few years and now we have expanded to collaborate with national universities and today is the first session kicking off the beginning of the new academic year and we're here
and to welcome uh Dai Jang from uh Princeton University. So he's currently a posttock fellow at Princeton AI lab and he's working closely with professor Mundi Wong and his research focused on developing foundation models biocurity safeguards and agendic AI systems that connect computational intelligence with experimental biology and in his talk he will share his vision for AI native life
science research where autonomous agents multimodal models and wet labing integration work together to accelerate discovery safely and responsibly. Zai is also currently on the job market and he's seeking to build autonomous laboratories powered by AI for scientific discovery. Uh, working closely with professor Mundi Wong. uh today I will give a talk on uh with a topic advancing AI for life sciences foundation models safeguards and AI agents. So I will uh introduce
how we use AI tools to accelerating the uh scientific discovery in the life science area and um specifically I will talk about how we build powerful foundation models for um I uh sequence design and how we building u safeguards for the existing powerful foundation models and finally I will talk about how we build a self- evvolving uh biomedical
