North Korean dictator Kim Jong Hill was so obsessed with pizza that he literally flew Italian chefs to Pongyang just to teach his army how to make it. In the late 1990s, he launched what was basically a military operation for pizza, sending North Korean army chefs to Italy to master the art, but when they
returned, he hated it. The ingredients in North Korea simply couldn't match the flavor. So what did he do? He ordered that real Italian flour, mozzarella, and ingredients be transported on the state airline. Then he flew in real Italian chefs to personally train his cooks. According to defectors, Kim's staff didn't even know what
mozzarella was. He literally turned North Korea's army and airline into his personal pizza delivery system , all because he liked it so much.
