DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CANADIAN FRENCH AND FRANCE FRENCH

hello everyone know what is good for those of you that are new here welcome to my channel and in today's video we'll be talking about differences in French in Canada and France so just a little background information I'm Canadian and I started to learn my French in school and then I further progressed my

learning in Quebec so I learned a lot of expressions and words and then I moved to France for a year so that's primarily where my accent comes from and where I learned most of my words and expressions so I decided to make this video because as a French learner myself I have learned French in Quebec and a hive

learn French in France and there are certain differences that I've noticed so I'm hoping to give you guys some insights that way you don't have to go through the same issues that I've had to go through so I'll be telling you a couple different words and expressions that are used differently in Canada and

in France the first word I'm going to mention is the word Gus for the people from France that are watching you guys understand this as children but the people who are watching this from Canada they understand this as testicles an expression that's quite similar between the two countries is the expression what are you doing so in Canada most people

would say to record the bone and in France they would say to fake what the bow so ball and bow something that I should mention is if you were learning French as a second language and you use a word that's or an expression that is used primarily in Canada and you use that in France people will more than

likely correct you because they will think that it is wrong even though it is not wrong but say if a French person a native French speaker from Canada went to France and use these expressions no one would really say anything they probably should be like oh that's funny that you say it that way
