Hello, I'm Sadohara. It's been a while, but let's do another Comment Radio. Surprisingly, my real-life friends seem to really like it. Watching something made by a friend can feel a little embarrassing, so I understand that. But I'm going to do it with confidence. As for today's episode... I'll read comments, share a few updates and plans, look back at previous videos, and show a few small pieces of gear.

That's roughly the plan. So let's start with the comments. Lately... I honestly haven't kept up with the comments, so I was looking for a good one to start with. Let's use my latest video—the Grasshopper pack I mainly use. It's a 22-liter pack. I made a fairly detailed review in my own way, so I'd like to pick out and read a few comments.

First, Kurikishi-san. Thank you. “I use the small opening in the bottom pocket for wrappers from trail food. If I put rubbish through the large opening, it can fall out with my food. But through the small opening, it stays at the back and the food remains easy to reach. That way I can carry the rubbish home. Its potential for expanding how it can be used makes it seem like a pack that will become more fun over time.”

Thank you. I wonder what the manufacturer actually intended. I've always found it mysterious, though I've never really looked into it. On the bottom pocket, at the opposite end from the main opening, there's a small hole. Pa'lante packs have one too. I used to wonder what it was for. But yes, using it for rubbish makes sense and seems very practical.

Perhaps it tests the idea of a fully pared-down UL pack, raises questions about conventional UL packs, or embodies liberation from UL gear at the furthest edge of weight reduction.
