Good morning, people of God. This is another day that the Lord has made and we're going to rejoice. We're going to be glad in it. I am Dr. Karen Riggins and I am steward over Christ over cancer. It is where we create and build a safe [music] place to rebuild your faith while you wait on the healing
promises of God. We are assigned to [music] cancer fighters, survivors, and their caregivers, and people going through difficult situations in their >> [music] >> faith in God. We are back again. This is our moment of prayer. We stand under an open heaven where God has already given the answer >> [music] >> to the question. He's already given the
solution to the problem and today God is focused about our emptiness after making the sacrifice of obedience. Emptiness [music] after obedience. I have not heard this really [music] preached or taught um in the church, but there is an emptiness that you can feel after you obey God. [music] And when we pray this morning, we're
going to be praying and there are three words that we're going to be using. We're going to be talking about the act of surrender. That means relinquishing control, giving [music] up control. It is standing under the will of God and relinquishing your will. >> [music] >> The word sacrifice, that means to give
up something of value [music] and that becomes important because part of your surrender some of you [music] have has been to make sacrifices, meaning you have given up expensive [music] things. You've given up your your your years, your talents, your gifts to God. You've even surrendered to this process called affliction, and you've given up your normal of health.
