IRCC is Rejecting Valid Medicals! Do THIS Before Applying 🚨

So, what's happening is that IRCC is rejecting applications under R10. Now, this is R10 is Immigration Refugee Protection Regulation Section 10, which says the application must be complete. So, it's your responsibility to provide a complete application, and providing a valid upfront medical is part of that requirement. Medical validity, as we all know it, is usually 12 months from the

date it has been taken. However, if you are inside Canada and if you're applying for permanent residence or a temporary residence application, then basically there is an ongoing active public policy which is valid until October 2029, which states that if you're inside Canada, if you've already completed the immigration medicals, regardless of which country it

was completed in, regardless of for what purpose it was completed, then you may use the same medicals or the same IME number or the UMI number of your medicals to submit in your new PR application or your new temporary residence application. However, what IRCC is doing is that they are referring to their operational guidelines, which

hasn't been updated. Uh so, I do not know whether I call it an officer's mistake or I call it the IRCC's policy making divisions mistake, which hasn't really updated the operational guidelines for the officers to reflect the current public policy, which states that your medicals are valid for 5 years. But, what this is doing is that

people are getting rejections. Now, when you get a rejection, you basically are no longer in the pool. You don't have an application. Your fee is refunded. If you are an ongoing bridge open work permit application, at some point of time that will get refused. If that gets refused, you are now out of status.
