Come on. This is my last day. Oh, I made myself emotional. We're in Oxford. >> [music]

[music] >> Today [music] is my last and final day at the GP practice that I've been working in for the last 4 months, which is crazy. Life goes by [music] so fast. That means I need to go to the shops to get them a little thank you and [music] a goodbye present before we head to work

today.

The sun is shining. Yeah, summer is here and that's why I feel such positive [music] feelings and like positive energy today because, you know, me finishing this 4-month rotation at the GP practice just shows that to me. It indicates that [music] I'm almost done with my 2-year training as a doctor and I am one step

closer to having my location freedom and time freedom that I've been craving in this last almost 2 years of training. It [music] feels like, you know, time will never pass and I will never finish [music] my training. I will never finish these 2 years. But, actually, I will. And I am.

I can't believe that this is my last drive to the GP. It's crazy and I am so happy and proud of myself for pushing through.

Okay, you know what? I'm not going to waste so much time on this cuz I still need to think of what I'm going to put in this card. I don't think it's going to be very heartfelt. Like I'm just writing a card to the place and to my colleagues that I worked with. So, I

don't [music] think it's that deep. Just pick one, please. >> [music] >> Oh, this is actually kind of cute and I think it would fit with the aesthetic of the GP that I'm working in because everyone in the GP practice that I'm working in are women. All the workers, all my colleagues are

women except the pharmacist, but you know, it's a women run family practice. For that reason, I think they would appreciate some flowers. >> [music] [music]

>> I'm in my last clinic room ever. I want to write the card and put the biscuits [music] before we start the working hours. It's currently 8:27. >> [music] >> No, I don't think I have pen here. I need to get it from the reception. I'll just borrow a pen, thanks. I'll bring it back.

In the end, I got them a little card and a tin of biscuits, which is a very British thing, actually. [music] Everyone here during their breaks eat biscuits with a cup of tea. >> Would you like a cup of tea? >> Yeah, sure. >> Have a cup of tea. >> I thought it was fitting. Let's put

these upstairs in the kitchen area / break room.

Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. Mhm. >> I'm trying to hype myself up right now. Come on. This is your last day. 13 patients to see today. And No. Okay, I thought they gave me a home visit. Whenever they gave me a home visit, which means seeing the patient in their home, that just takes my whole

lunch break and I can't get a chance to have a lunch. And then I get a migraine. I'm glad they didn't give me a home visit on my last day. Yeah, thankfully. Okay, good. >> [music] >> 13:02 I was like, "Oh my god, I'm so happy that I don't have a home visit." And

then notification. [music] They gave me a home visit. I just grabbed a quick bite anyway. Thankfully, the patient doesn't live so far. I can literally walk there. You know what? It's a lovely day to go for a walk. It's sunny. Well, it's not that sunny, but you know, still make the most of life, huh?

I've successfully finished GP. Yay! One of the best things about family medicine or GP is how much [music] teaching and research it involved. And I wanted to show you how I created visuals for my research write-up using Gamma. Imagine saving me so much time and probably had some role in impressing my supervisor. So, this was my actual

research project and I wanted to add a polished chart to present my data. But, designing visuals manually is time-consuming, and when I try to do it, it just never looks that good.
