So this is the Fitbit Air and it is very popular because it is a direct competitor to the VOP and it is much cheaper than the VOP but because it is cheaper, some features will be missing. Who knows, its accuracy may be a little weak, so today we will check it. We will

compare these two on every metric and see which one is the best. So first of all we start with prining these two. So Fitbitar has not yet arrived in India. But it is 100% confirmed that it will be cheaper than VOP. Because if you want to run Woop properly then you have to pay ₹30,000 every year.

Which of course is not logical at all. The price of Fitmbit outside India is $100 i.e. approximately ₹9500 and coming to India, even if we assume it to be ₹13-14,000, it will still be cheaper than Whoop and it has a one-time fee whereas Whoop is a subscription model. So Fitbit has a clear advantage in pricing. But

we will see how much advantage there is in data in a while. Before that let us talk about the physical aspects of both of them. So the fit of both is very comfortable. Meaning you won't know you're wearing anything. Both are so light. The Woof weighs 28 grams and the Fitbit weighs 13 grams. So the

Fitbit is much lighter. But the tying mechanism of the Woof is slightly better as it locks on the hand. Whereas in Fitbit it sticks normally which can become a little weak after a point. But it is not something that will fall from your hand. Secondly, the Woof is a bit bigger in size while the Fitbit is quite small.

So it looks very elegant on the hand. With the Butt Woop, you have the option to wear it on your bicep or get it separately. It is a different matter that these are very expensive but the option is there. This means you have a choice not to wear the whoop on your hand.

Whereas there is nothing like this in Fitbit. You will have to wear it on your hand only. Now that's how long it's been since I've been using them. I have always worn these. I just take it off while bathing. And it is not that these devices have any problem with water. I just have trouble with wet bands. Woof

says you shouldn't take this band off. You should always wear it because its charge is also on your hand. All you have to do is take the battery pack and place it on top and charging will start. Whereas in Fitbit, you have to remove it and plug it into the charger like any normal smart watch.

And if I talk about charging time, it takes around 1 hour for Fitbit to get fully charged. Whereas the work is only 50% in 1 hour. It takes two to two hours to get fully charged. The only thing is that you do n't have to take it out by hand, so it collects data and also gets charged. Now that we are

talking about charging, let us also look at the battery life. So I charged both of them to 100% on June 18th at 2:00 pm and on June 26th at 7:45 am the Fitbit was at 4%. This means you will get 7 to 8 days of battery life in Fitbit and Google's claim is also the same.

Whereas Woop is at 6% on June 28 at 9:30 am. So technically two extra days i.e. 10 days. The company claims 14 days of battery life, but it only lasts for 10 days. Since both are screenless trackers, you can see all their data in the apps only. [MUSIC] Fitbit starts showing you data right from the beginning and it

takes 7 days to calibrate. Whereas in Woop you will not see anything for the first few days. The entire app will appear blank as it calibrates. Whoop also calibrates most things in 7 days. But it takes 21 days for your whoop age to arrive. Now I will tell you what whoop edge is

in a while. Now let us see the tracking of both of them. Let's start with step calculation and both have different ways of counting steps. Like Whoop counts your steps to sleep. Here the calculation of 12:00 to 12:00 does not work. If you don't sleep for a day, the steps are rarely carried over to the next day.

Whereas Fitbit behaves absolutely normal. I will measure these steps from 12:00 tonight till 12:00 tomorrow night. And no matter what data you view, Fitbit will always show you more steps than Whoop. And Fitbit measures your steps live. Like you can see along with the steps. Whereas Whoop doesn't do that. It does n't show it live. And it is

not that if you refresh it, the latest version will be visible. It works on its own. And this seems like a very silly thing to me. For accuracy, I manually counted 1000 steps and the Fitbit's total was 104 and the Whoop's was 913. That means Fitbit is more accurate than WAP in step counting.

And I was feeling the same. Next we look at tracking an activity [music] because things are very different here too. So I played badminton for an hour and a half at night and I did not start any tracking. Everything was getting auto tracked and Whoop's auto tracking is better because it started recording almost from the moment

I started playing which was 8:40 PM. The Fitbit started recording [music] at 8:56 and both ended at the same time. Bhup's is 10:05 and Fitbit's is 10:06. So now let's compare his heart rate from 8:56 [music] to 10:05 while both were tracking. You will see how much difference there is. Like I do

n't know who to trust. The average heart rate of both is different, calories are also different. And it's not just me who is affected. When I was researching this video, I noticed that a lot of people have experienced this issue with their Fitbit. Meaning it is not able to detect time properly. Like in Technolop's video,

he had tracked a badminton session. Actually that session was of 70 minutes. But according to Fitbit, it was 17 minutes. And one more thing is that Whoop detects the closest to your exact activity. For example, when I play badminton, it detects pickleball because the playing style is very similar. Whereas Fitbit writes 'May B Sport' here and

you will have to select which activity you had. Even if you do strength training, there is another benefit of whooping. You can lock your reps within the app so Whoop can calculate your muscle load as well. Although this is manual and a common man will not do it every day, but the feature is there. So

what did we learn by tracking these workouts? The first thing Whoop's auto tracking is excellent. Delays come to Fitbit. Some activities in this are late shows. Simple ones like walking can be seen together but heavier ones take time and we have seen this too. The other thing is if I do n't want extreme precision [music] then Fitbit is

good enough for 99% of the people. Because no matter how my data came. I've also seen plenty of scientific videos showing both the Fitbit and Whoop going neck to neck with the Polar H10. That's why I'm saying that Fitbit is good enough for most people. And the third thing is that the calorie counter of VOP is not accurate.

Whoop has been receiving criticism for this for a long time. So keep this thing in mind. Now that we are talking about tracking, let me tell you a major problem. On the night of June 19, I was travelling by bus and since the bus shakes a lot, your body also shakes with it.

So even though I was sleeping in the bus, neither of them detected my sleep. But the weird thing is that according to whoops, I was working out inside the bus at 5:15 in the night. And this is not just any workout. This is a 38-minute workout. And according to this, I must have done some activity at 3:00 pm

which lasted for half an hour. So this is a very weird thing I noticed because for the amount of money you pay for Woop, this thing should not happen at all. Meaning this is not acceptable at all. On the other hand, Fitbit's is very simple. No sleep data. That's it. It didn't do any unnecessary workout

tracking. This was just one instance I had to report from Extra. Now next we talk about sleep. Here too, Whoop shows your sleep in a slightly different way. Like what the rest of the world calls sleep, Whoop calls it time in bed. For example, if you compare Fitbit's sleep time with Whoop's time in bed, it is more or less the same.

But if you look at my exact sleep hours, they appear slightly less in the woof. And then both of them divide your sleep into RAM deep sleep. So you can see that. Let me show you a two-day sleep analysis. As I said, Whoop shows less data like time awake in bed 19 minutes, whereas this is not true and

you can also compare the sleep stages. Same on the second day also the time awake in bed whoop is 43 minutes but this is also not true. I am the person who falls asleep in 1 minute. So I don't know who's staying awake for these 43 minutes. Then you can also see a comparison of sleep stages. The difference will be visible here [music] also.

And on the third day, my sleep was for 7-8 hours but my recovery was very poor and this thing was reflected by both the trackers. If you look at all five vitals, they are almost the same because HRV is low in both and the rest of the metrics are also almost matching. So

both of them are giving an idea of our overall condition. But still, I found the Fitbit to be a little more accurate because the Whoop shows a little more of your awake time. And one more thing is that the Vap doesn't record naps of less than an hour, whereas the Fitbit does. So I found the sleep tracking of Fitbit to be better.

Now that we have talked about tracking. Now let us talk about the UI of both because it is also very different. So the UI of VOP is quite detailed compared to any general smart watch. Like there are so many things to see in it. But when I used Fitbit's UI, I thought it would be simple, but it is not. Let

me explain it to you with an example. Look at both of your apps side by side. As soon as the UI of VOP opens, you see three big things in front of you. [MUSIC] Sleep, recovery and strain. Same is the case in Fitpit also. On the side it shows you weekly cardio and on the

right is steps and recovery it says readiness and then below that is sleep and the area below that is for additional information on both. Whoop shows you the data here but in Fitbit everything will be explained to you by AI. Even if there is the slightest activity, you will see it all here. But it's not worth it.

Because its advice is very generic. And every time I am opening the app. I don't want to read such long paragraphs. All I have to do is look at my data and these big paragraphs are shown to you by Google's AI coach which is available for free for 3 months. After that, its charge is

$10 per month in the US. However, Jio has given Google AI Pro to us Indians, so all this comes with it. But I did not find this 'To Be Honest' useful. But there's a way to slow this AI thing down a bit, called Expanded Mode. If you press this pencil button, the option of expanded view appears here.

So here you can add tiles as per your wish. So I like this view better. No need to slide again and again. This just shows everything on one screen and the AI one slides down a little and there is nothing else. If we look at the similarities between the two, then health monitor is

available in both and it shows all the important metrics like HRV, RHR etc. In Vitals you will get the same five metrics and you can compare all five. So the apps of both are very different. It will take you some time to understand both. Just don't get caught up in that fit fit premium. The

app looks better without AI summaries because Hoop has this feature but does n't force it on you. You can talk to him by clicking on the corner. Now a question might be coming to your mind that if Whoop is so expensive then what extra is it getting that Fitbit does not have ? So first of all, Whoop has a really

cool thing called Whoop Edge. This means that just as you age, your body also ages according to your actions. If you consume drugs, do not sleep on time, do not workout, then your body age will be more than your actual age. And Whoop tells you just that. I know it's a gimmick but whoops age matters to me.

Because it just feels good. Like my actual age is 26 [music] but my whoop age is 19 something. Now it would be good if I make efforts to reduce my age. The second thing Whoop has is the journal. In this you track your habits every morning. Like did you eat late or did you

meditate or did you consume alcohol. So when you lock this thing every day, after a point Whoop shows you what effect that action has on your recovery. Then Whoop also has a stress monitor whereas Fitbit cannot monitor your stress. Then, if you ever forget to wear the tracker, Whoop also gives you an additional notification to let you know that

your Whoop is off your body. So these are some of the features that Whoop has but Fitbit does n't. But there are some features that Fitbit has but Whoop does not have. For example, Fitbit can also take some health data from your phone, which slightly increases accuracy. On the other hand Whoop only

relies on its own data. Secondly, Fitbit also has a hydration tab through which you can lock how much water you drank. And with the amount of heat it is getting these days, this is necessary. Then Fitbit also shows you a resilience score. Basically the same as recovery. It is just clearly written what your

condition is. Fitbit also has a fifth condition monitoring. That means if there is any abnormality in the heart rhythm, you will get a warning. This happens in VOP also but there is no such specific feature. So there are so many things in Fitmbit which are extra. I know VOP has more to offer and

also has some additional benefits. But then we also have to keep the cost in mind. So the matter is very simple. No matter how accurate Whoop is, all the extra metrics it shows are of no use to a common man. I also said this in the dedicated video of Woop that not all of us are athletes. So

we will not act on whatever data Whoop gives us. If the recovery has come down, it has come. Like today my recovery is 23 so what should I do? Should I leave the job or not shoot? It cannot happen like this. Everything is shaken but still work has to be done. Athletes can act on this data. That's why it is

useful to them. When they give so much money, they get a return for it. But for people like us, Fitbit is more than enough and is also much cheaper than a vape. So if you want a fitness tracker, then pick it up as soon as Fitbit launches in India. Otherwise, if you want to understand Woop in proper detail, then
