I'm Oscar, and today I'm going to talk to you about Franklin Roosevelt, a short biography of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who was an American politician, diplomat, and lawyer who became the third president of the United States and the only one to be re-elected four times. Well, he was

born in New York on January 30, 1882, and died in Georgia on April 12, 1945. He began his political career at a very young age and had a brilliant political career that was cut short by polio, which temporarily removed him from public life, and almost everyone assumed that he was finished. Although he lost the use of his

lower body—he could barely walk and used a wheelchair—he tried to hide it throughout his life. But he, who believed in himself, ran for governor of New York in 1932, winning the position, and thus opened the way for him to be the Democratic Party's presidential candidate in the 1932 United States presidential election, which he

also won. The 1932, 1936, 1940, and 1934 budgets—something never before seen in the entire history of the United States. Why is he remembered? Basically, for three things: first, for being one of the architects of the Allied victory in World War II; second, for implementing the New Deal; and third, for approving and implementing the Manhattan Plan.
