hello and welcome to the first video of AI marketing course for digital marketers where we will be focusing mostly on CH GPT we might use any other AI tools as well for any specific use cases but widely and vastly it will be only Chad GPT and there are reasons for that which I will explain later this

course will help you to kind of understand the use cases where you can include these AI Tools in your workflow as a digital marketer in your day-to-day task and basically enhance your efficiency as a digital marketer so this course is more mostly about demos to show you how we can use chat GPT and

other AI tools to do our day-to-day task as digital marketers fast and improve the quality of the output I see a lot of digital marketers they know that they have to get started with the AI because otherwise they'll be left behind but I don't know they're still waiting but I think we are heading towards a time when

very quickly people who do not already know how to leverage these tools will become irrelevant and this space is growing so fast that soon we'll see a time when it'll be very hard for people to catch up if they haven't already started working on these tools so that being said this is the curriculum of the

course of course there might be changes because this space is changing so fast and it's new honestly I'm still discovering I've been working on it for a while now I'm still discovering different use cases so this curriculum might change but overall this is how it will look like we will see chat GPT for

marketers in Q3 2024 what are the basics what are the important why is it so important and what should be your expectations as of now from chat GPT then we'll talk about prompts then we'll talk about market research how chat GPT can help us in market research and quality market research do competitor

should be our expectations how we should use it basically this course will give you kind of a direction because there are Million Ways to Think about any of these topics this will give you a direction help you to kind of get started then you can use and uh think about other use cases but and this is

kind of like the best use cases I have come across so far and I have worked extensively on chat GPT honestly and then uh we'll talk about content calendar and pillars then content marketing strategy reporting and analytics audience Persona building and certain you Advanced use cases like focus groups testing architecture how to

create custom chart gpts for marketers and then uh we'll work on certain professional templates case studies and white papers fqs and then sentiment analysis ad text architecture this is like the basically the overall structure but this might change meaning we might add a lot of more topics now you might ask me why did I use chat gbt it's very

important to understand there are a lot of tools AI tools which a digital marketer can use and there are so many popping up and it's like a full-time job just to keep a track of all these tools if you keep a track of that if you want to use different AI tools and keep a

track of the new popping tools it's very overwhelming and it defies the first objective which is like how we can use these tools the option here is all the tools they basically there are certain tools which have like some marginal benefit of using over open AI but it's not worth the confusion and the second

reason is my philosophy of learning I'm a certified trainer my philosophy of learning is when you're starting to learn any new skill avoid the noise avoid the confusion and focus on one thing first or I call this philosophy first go deep then go Broad and I have mentioned the same philosophy in my most

popular video which is road map to learn digital marketing where I say first learn one thing like Google ads meta ads any particular platform learn it in and out and then it'll be easy for you to learn other platforms because there are certain variations but it'll be way easier for you to understand the

variations in different platforms so an example to understand this is if you want to learn driving you don't get overwhelmed in the beginning okay how will I drive a Mercedes how will I drive a Honda How Will I how will I drive drive a Chevrolet because they have some different options here and there but

that defies the purpose what you have to do is you pick any car you just learn to drive once you become an experienced driver and I put you in a very different brand you'll be able to drive that as well and it'll take you a minute to learn what are the variations here and

there so that's why I choose only chat GPT and I thought a lot about it but honestly this is what I settled for and if it's your first course with me my name is ahed I've been a digital marketer for 10 years and I'm a Google Certified trainer for 7 years I trained

uh Google support teams all over the world for 3 years I always try new things like 10 years ago when I started a career in digital marketing my friends were like why don't you become a coder nobody at that time had even an idea about digital marketing very few people were in this industry and very few

people knew about it it was not mainstream and then even when I started digital marketing I started learning programmatic advertising which had very very less scope like very few companies we doing that now before we jump into our first section I want to clarify on these things which are very important to understand like what is my stance I

think as digital marketers adopting to AI marketing is inevitable and people who will not do it will become very very irrelevant because AI helps you to produce so much of work AI helps you to enhance the quality of your work and it makes everything easy for you and for this course I'm going to use the paid

version which is chat GPT plus but if you do not have a paid version you can still use free version which will kind of give you very close results but you might not be able to do certain things like downloading the files which is okay you'll have to manually do it now let's

jump into our first section which is chat GPT for marketers in Q3 2024 now basically to log into chat GPT you can go to Google and search for chat GPT and it will open chat gp.com this is the chart GPT UI I'm already logged in so this is directly taking me to this

screen for you if if you're logging in first time it might ask you to log in which you can do with your email or your Google if you're not a chat GPT plus user you might not see this option might be grade out for you you might be only able to see uh GPT 40 mini here now one

more thing to understand here is you might hear about other Suites by open AI so for example if I click on here it will show me all the previous uh chat interactions I had and you it will show you certain for example this is chart GPT if you click on explore gpts you

might see there are a lot of custom gpts created by other companies even uh by chat GPT U these are the ones which are created by them which are very specific for example uh di here is uh specifically used to just create images right data analyst here uh is specifically used to analyze the data

one more thing is uh what you should expect from chat GPT as of now maybe it'll become way way better in the coming uh time but I'm talking about like uh August 2024 for so what I think is uh Chad GPT is basically very good at creating the first draft of your work

like if you want to do anything uh the beginning is always tough like uh to get the data to do anything like for example if I have to create a strategy now initially to structure the strategy what slide what how many slides I will use what will go in the first slide what

will go in the second Slide the outline the structure uh this is very timec consuming and it's very tough right so Chad GPT always can be used to create the first DRFT it does that seamlessly and it makes that easy the second thing is any task you use Chad GPT for within digital marketing industry there's no

task where chat GPT cannot do 80% of your work in certain cases you should know what you want then only chat GPT can help you for example if you want to create a media plan you should know the basics of media plan like what rows what columns what all metrics should I calculate which channel should I focus

more on Less on so these things are like Basics you have to already know but so to basically to summarize it I will not rely on chat GPT 100% for something and download it and send to the client I would always sense check it and that out of our way now we go to our uh second

section which is about prompts one thing to understand is the only way to interact with Char GPT is the prompt you give it whether it's a voice command or you write the prompt so which means one of the major deciding factor that what kind of qu quality of work chat GPT does for you heavily heavily depends on

prompts if for example this guy asked Chad GPT give me something sporty to drive Chad GPT gave a bike with a sports car uh engine fitted here something like that and the other guy was descriptive I wish for a brand new sports car with a sunroof leather seat and a powerful engine and CH gbt provided this

particular sports car now the good news is if you're saying okay uh how do I learn prompts because I know there are a lot of courses online now on prompt engineering and I don't know what they teach syntaxes and but I think it's very very artificial you just have to get used to this new way of interacting with

AI tools like prompting until it lost what you have to do is like any good thing in this world you have to spend some time on it and you will definitely get better because I saw it in myself when I started learning chat GPT initially I my mind would be blocked like okay what can I ask CH to do okay

what should I say and how should I write the prompt but when you spend time on it honestly this is a very very powerful skill you can develop which is trying to understand what kind of impact does different kind of uh prompts have and that's kind of what the objective of this course is to give you like some

very real life examples that what kind of prompts you should write and what kind of work you should ask chat gp2 to do however there are certain best practices like you have to keep in mind while drafting your prompts and you you'll will get good at it for example the first thing I realized is very

important when it comes to prompting is you have to be very specific you have to provide context and the result you want these are the three things which should be like a bare minimum in your prompt for example these are the example so this is a bad example tell me a good marketing strategy for promoting an app

now this is not very specific it does not provide context and uh it mentions the result but not like in detail so a good prompt would be give me a marketing strategy with five tactics to increase app installs this is for an e-commerce app which sells sportsware for boxing swimming weightlifting and other martial

arts the app is fairly known within the target audience and our USB is branded products with competitive pricing the target market is Germany and we can spend up to5 a month now because this has a context chat DPT understands the context why you want a particular result the result is that I want five tactics

the result is that Char gbt understands the context like what why do we want this for what do we want this we gave certain parameters there okay this is the budget we can spend up to so this is a very very uh better prompt than the first one another example within this is

uh for example write a blog outline about importance of marketing now this sounds like good because there is result I want a Blog outline and we gave a little bit of context like we need it about importance of marketing but it's not very uh we did not provide a lot of context now look at this prompt write a

blog outline for my website about importance of AI Marketing in 2024 to generate organic traffic the tone should be casual and feel like an experienced marketer has written it it should be optimized to rank on keywords like AI marketing AI Marketing in 2024 now this is very specific there's a lot of context in it and the even the result we

wanted is improved like write a blog outline for my website about this AI marketing and that two in 2024 to generate organic traffic which is part of a result as well the second thing I'm realized is very important when you write prompts is if you sometimes you have very complicated task it's a

complex task and it's a good news that you can break down you can follow up with chart GPT you don't have to write everything in one go to give you an example here for example this is a bad example write a blog about importance of marketing in 2024 for small businesses and big corporations and what steps

should they take now it's a basically a complicated task not complicated but it mentions about you have to write a blog then you you have to mention separately of the tactics for small business and big corporations now what you can do is instead that you write the same exact uh prompt write me a Blog about importance

of marketing 2024 and all this and you initially have to keep in mind that I can follow up let Chad GPT give me an output on this particular Blog then you say once you get the uh outcome from chat GPD then you follow up saying add separate sections on it importance for small and big businesses and in each

section highlight three examples of how AI enhances marketing strategies the third thing is always I know it's a cliche everybody talks about it but it's so true I have experimented a lot with it always assign a role for easy context and tone setting now what it means is when you assign a role to chat GPT it

automatically understands that what should be the tone how how should the output be for example uh here if I write analyze the attached Google adds report and give me insights and acable task to optimize the campaign further the report contains data about YouTube ad campaigns optimized to generate VTR if I do this

chat GPT will give me very very generic answers or uh insights however if you mention if you just add a role in the beginning of this prompt like act as an experienced performance marketer who knows data analysis very well and analyze the attach now in that case what chat GP does is it will give you

recommendation ations as if a performance marketer who understands the media metrics as well as who is very strong in data analytics is looking at the report the outcome will be very very very different so so chat gbt understands that what kind of analysis I have to do what kind of insights I have

to provide so for example if you say write so if you say write uh an ad copy for my Facebook ads I have this particular product and I have experimented a lot when you say act as a very senior copywriter and provide ad copies for this Facebook ads the quality is H very very very different so but

don't worry just keep them in back of your mind while we are writing prompts in different sections of this course you will basically understand all of it but this is just to keep in mind in the back of your mind now basically when you write prompts what you will develop is you'll always develop a quality or a

skill where you will be basically uh you you will work prompts in terms of syntax which which is like a kind of a framework for example this prompt here act as an experienced performance marketer who knows data analytics very well and analyze the attached report if you see if you break down this

particular prompt what we did basically is the first part was a role we assigned a role uniz the attached Google ads report is like the task for uh chat GPT and give me insights and ex tasks and optimize to optimize the campaign further is like the outcome or uh the result we want from chart GPT and the

report contains data about the YouTube ad campaigns optimize to generate VTR is like a context now you will automatically start thinking about this syntax you will develop this is a very broad syntax like you can use it in most of the use cases for example if I have to do media plan I'll say act as a very

senior media planner who has experience in UAE market then give me a media plan for a particular client and I want the media plan in a table which should have Impressions clicks CTR whatever and then I'll give a cont context like okay uh this is for a company who sells jewelry online and stuff like that and this is

their budget and tell about them so if you see this syntax can be used in very very wide variety of tasks but then uh you don't have to stick to it basically there are different kind of syntaxes you will have to kind of learn it's not something you will have to learn and

remember but that's how you will once you work on prompts that's how you will start thinking later so to sharpen your skills uh I have a particular task for you which you have to do because uh for this one there's no quiz but there is a task you have to do in the description

below there is a link to the form where It'll ask you to drop different kind of prompts for a particular syntax and with examples like what it's used for but you'll have to draft those prompts and there is one more link where all the prompts everyone wres they will appear there for you to see how others are

thinking and it gives you better idea has and then we will see who who is writing good prompts but I really encourage you to take part in this because honestly this is part of uh the learning curve and that's all for this video thank you so much and I will see you in the next one
