Good morning, people of God. This is the day that the Lord has made and we're going to rejoice and be glad in it. I'm Dr. Karen Reigans and I'm privileged to steward Christ over cancer. It is a safe space for cancer fighters, survivors, and their caregivers to rebuild their faith while they wait on the promises of

God to manifest. We meet here each week, every Wednesday morning, to pray collectively. And when we pray, we know that our God hears us and as he hears, he answers our prayers. Our prayers are targeted and God honors the sound that we lift up to him. And this morning, we have a very

specific assignment in prayer. This morning's prayer is about running. I give a lot of bad news as an oncologist. And I have a strategy for when I deliver bad news. And one of the things that I do after I have spoken and made it very clear to the patient the things that I'm worried and

concerned about, I ask them how they deal with difficult news. How do they deal with difficult things? Do they pray? Do they meditate? Do they walk? Do they journal? Do they exercise? Do they talk to their friends and families? What is their strategy? How do they run? Where do they run? It's helpful for me to know that once I

have delivered a heavy thing, that they have a strategy to run and take the proper measures to deal with the news correctly and appropriately. As a believer in Christ, I believe the best strategy for difficult things, the best strategy for storms, rain, and even warfare from the enemy, the best strategy is to run

to the name of God. And this morning's prayer is steeped in the scripture from Proverbs, the 18th chapter and the 10th verse. And the word says, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into it and are safe." "The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run to it and are safe."

In biblical times, those towers were high. They were not meant to be decorative buildings, but they were actually military strategies. So, when people were in trouble, when the battle was advancing, there was a place that people could run, and they would run to the high towers for protection. They would run to the high towers to be

elevated over the battlefield, and they would run to the towers to achieve stability in chaos. It was not just for escape. It was for the fact that they were elevated over the thing that they were running from. It was not just a matter of running. It was a matter of being restored and refreshed because the

towers were nearly impenetrable, and nothing can usually get through the ranks of those reinforced structures. It was a safe space intended to elevate and provide safety and stability in chaotic times. The name of the Lord is a strong tower. His character, his authority, his presence is a safe place for you and me.

It elevates us above the battle, and we can escape out of anything and run to a place where we can see more clearly in the presence of the almighty king. The name of the Lord is a strong tower to the righteous. Those who have taken the righteousness of Christ, it is our right

to run. You have a right to run to the strong tower. You have a right to run, and you are safe from the chaos. You are safe from the confusion. You are safe from the combat of the enemy. You are safe from the lies of the cancer. You are marked as safe. And so, we're praying

from the high tower this morning. We're praying from the name from the name of the Lord that he is our safe space. Let us pray. Heavenly Father, we thank you. You are our God. You are our king. You are our ruler. You are our father. You are our Abba. You are our great

shepherd. You keep us and you lead us so gently. You love us with a love that we've never experienced, nor has ever been expressed before. You love us so much that you sacrificed your only son so that we could have the right to the tree of life. You sacrificed your only son, making him to carry the sin,

the shame, the burden, and the guilt of our transgressions. He carried for us. While we were yet sinners, he saved us. And we never known a love like the love of Jesus. And by his name men are saved. And we cry out, Jesus. We thank you for your redemptive love. We thank you for

snatching us up out of the horrible pit. We thank you that you had enough patience and long to long-suffering. You redeemed us. Thank you that it was written that you would redeem the mankind that failed you. The mankind that made you cry. The mankind that stirred your emotions. Thank you for redeeming the mankind.

And we were not worthy, but we are grateful for the Jesus Christ and the work of the cross. And we will not stop there at the cross. For when Jesus went back to the Father, oh God, you sent the Holy Spirit that dwells within us and among us. And we're grateful that you

sent the Paraclete. You sent the Helper. You sent the spirit of adoption that whereby we cry, our father, that you have never left us, you have never forsaken us, through every fire, through every trial, through every storm, we're not alone. We thank you for the name of Jesus. At the name of Jesus, demons must

flee. We thank you that your name is a strong tower, and we run down to the name of Jesus. We run down to the name of Christ, and we say that cancer is under the name of Christ. Higher persecution is under the name of Christ. Crucifixion under the name of Christ. Mishandling, mistreatment under the name

of Christ. Storms under the name of Christ. We put it all under the name of Christ. Every problem we have, every situation we're in, it's under your feet. And as we wrap ourselves up in the name of Christ, because we are covered in the blood of the lamb, we are elevated to see things above the battle battlefield,

knowing that we are greater, and we are stronger than the enemy that has set his face against us. That we tread upon serpents and scorpions, and we have power over all of the enemy. And whatever we bind on earth, you bind in heaven. And whatever we loose on earth, we loose in heaven, for your name is

great. Your name is a strong tower. You are our safe space. You hide us under the shadow of you, God. We thank you, oh God. You lead us beside still waters. For your name is shepherd. You heal us from all our diseases. For your name is healer. You're a friend to the friendless. For you are friend. And you

are our father. So, we say Abba in every situation that we are in. Cover us, shepherd us, father us. Cover us, shepherd us, father us. Cover us, shepherd us, father us. Cover us, shepherd us, father us. Let every cell align with your perfect work. We cancel the attack of cancer. We cancel the attack of aberrant mutations.

And we speak life. We speak peace. We speak correct and normal functioning of our organ systems. We speak life. We speak that we will survive. That we will live and see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. We speak that we will have life more abundantly. We speak that you have not

given us the spirit of fear, but of love, peace, and a sound mind. We declare that we are sound in mind because we are elevated above the thing that we escaped. We say, oh God, that we are our hearts are filled with love because we are safe and stable from the chaos happening around us.

Oh God, we say oh God that we are filled with your peace, oh God, for you have reinforced our safety by your name. And we are a people called by your name, which makes us the territory of God. So, we mark ourselves safe because we are the territory of the most high God. And

Satan cannot have his way I I I I I say in the territory of God. And so now, because we are of the territory of God, knowing that we are sons and daughters, we advance, we advance, we advance. We advance in the war, we advance in the battle, we advance in the win, we

advance in our victory, we advance in our peace, we advance in our joy, we advance in our stability. Because we have escaped to elevation, and we have run to restoration, and the name of our God is a strong tower, and we run, and we feel our safe place. We thank you for what you're

doing in our lives. We thank you for transition and promotion. We thank you for shifting things now. We thank you for breaking things up. We thank you for revealing and exposing, and we give you honor, we give you glory, we give you praise. Keep us in the high tower, God. Let us move from the high tower. Let us

advance from the high tower, and we give you glory and praise in Jesus' name. Amen. Amen. You are fighting from a place of victory. You're not on solid ground. You are elevated.
