If You Have Multiple Interests, Please Start a One-Person Business

This quote has been living in my head rent free for the past year.

Now, a few years ago, when I first started creating content online because I wanted to get out of doing cold outreach to land freelance clients, I started to notice people, specifically creators who were building 1 to $10 million, one person businesses, and they weren't working all day. I think Justin Welsh is a perfect example of this.

He highly values his time and he only works for a little bit in the morning. But he has the pieces of a business that we're going to talk about that allow him to make that much money. This is actually possible now, thanks to the internet, social media and AI, people still don't realize how much leverage and power they have as an individual.

We are completely beyond the getting paid for your time model. We are completely in the get paid for your mind and value model, which is completely detached from time. And for a lot of people that doesn't click. But the best way I can explain it is you can write one piece of content, and if that content gets

a million views and you get 1% of those people to buy a $100 product, I will let you do the math. Now, of course, you probably aren't going to get a million views on your first piece of content, but I think you get the point. It is something that you practice. It is a skill that you can develop, and it is one of the highest value

skills that companies, creators, everyone is hiring for right now. That's why this video may be very important to you. So these creators that I noticed who were building 1 to $10 million, one person businesses, what they were doing was selling either an education or info product or coaching, or a mix of both with social media as their way of distribution.
