Okay, let's get going with August 27th slate break down here. We've got a very small slate here today. So hopefully it can be a good day here for us. Yesterday in the morning definitely was you know pretty good. Did go on throughout the day not as good as the morning but you know decent day

yesterday. So let's go ahead and get into it here for today. We've got Misiewicz, Sale, Yamamoto, Hughes, Roop Cole, Rogers, Cameron, Manaea, Wacha, Neshek Arrieta and Cabrera as the top 10 pitchers. Keep in mind six games so >> [clears throat] >> Strikeout scores obviously going to go to Misiewicz then Sale, Garrett Garrett Cole

Yamamoto, Manaea, Wacha, Neshek, Rogers, Arrieta, Roop, Irvin, Cameron and Gabriel Hughes. So first game we've got the Rockies and the Nationals. Top three on the matchup they're going to go Goodwin, Moniak and Ortiz. So Gabriel Hughes and Jake Irvin here. Swing and miss for Jake Irvin doesn't look bad and the road Rockies

they do swing and miss at a good chunk. Doesn't look like they match up very well. I mean Goodwin and Moniak are the only ones with the good barrels. Let's see. Yeah, Moniak does rank over Goodwin. I mean I think either one of them are probably a good chance. It could be a

day for both of them potentially. If there's you know somebody other than those two

Not really. I think if there would be it'd be Norby but overall I'd probably stick with either Moniak or Goodwin whichever one whichever one you like better. I mean overall Moniak does look a little little better but Goodwin's [clears throat] got more barrel, so up to you. Um KHR is going to go Moniak, Goodman, Norby, Castro,

Carrick, Sullivan, Tovar, Beck, McCarthy, Romfield, Johnston, Ritter, and Zack Bean. Nasim Nunez for stolen base maybe would be kind of cool. I know that's kind of just a random little shot there, but he's good at that. He doesn't usually hit the ball hard, but maybe a base hit or something like that. Maybe he gets a walk and a stolen base. I think Lyle's probably the best option

here. And then Ruiz would be the other guy potentially, but overall I'd probably stick towards Lyle. I'm not a big fan of the Nationals here. Um on the offensive side. I do think the Rockies might win this game here. Yeah. So, that's what I'd say. I'd say probably stick with one of these two guys here.

But I mean, you could you know, there's some options down there, too. It's I don't like them as much, but we'll go to the next game. So again, Rockies and then we got Trevor Rogers. And then there's no Cardinals pitcher right now, so we'll just look at the Cardinals bats. So, let's see. Joshua Baez.

He is a lefty.

If they have him somewhere in like the 300s, no. I'd stay away. If it's somewhere in like 5-600s, uh maybe. Um aside from that, I mean, Wetherholt probably looks the best. I know it's left on left. I'd like to see Jordan Blaze Jordan get one there.

And I mean, Jordan Walker doesn't look as good as he should. And neither does Herrera. Both of them are normally the lefty mashers, and neither of them look as good as normal here. I think I'm liking Baez and Blaze Jordan. And then like Wetherholt would be kind of like him more for like, you

know, bases, hits, runs, RBIs, things like that. But I mean, he might get it over the wall, too. You never know. He's got an 11% barrel, so he's got more barrel than Blaze Jordan. Little bit harder, better hard hit than Blaze Jordan, too. So, maybe he does get it over the wall. So, those would be the three three ones

I'd look at. Uh for me, might be good for like hits, runs, RBIs. I don't think he's going to get it over the wall with a 5% barrel and a 42% hard hit, but >> [clears throat] >> I do like my Cardinals here overall with those guys. I mean, if Herrera and Walker

also start to like hit with those guys, too, like, you know, that's a good shape. So, uh KHRs going to go Wetherholt, Baez, Fermin, Jordan, Herrera, Church, Crooks, Burleson, Walker, Urias, Torres, Gorman, and Pedro Pages. Granted, us as a team, we've kind of been garbage lately. Although, we did make that last game close, so

I don't know. Maybe we get something going tomorrow. That'd be kind of nice. Top three here for the Astros and the Yankees. We've got Alvarez, Rice, and Grisham. Swing and strike for Gerrit Cole really doesn't look as good as it normally does for Gerrit Cole. Not to say that he's going to have a bad start, but he

Man, I mean he really doesn't look all that great. These Astros look like they match up well. Like obviously, you've got Yordan up top. I think realistically though, the ones that I I mean I say realistically because Yordan just hasn't done anything. Feel like I'd look at Varsho. Again, Varsho he went yesterday. Um

Trying to debate if I like LaMonte Wade or not. I do think I like Varsho more. And I somewhat like LaMonte Wade, but I I don't think I'm sold on LaMonte Wade. HRs going to go Alvarez, LaMonte Wade, Varsho, Paredes, Vasquez, Walker, Kemp, Smith, Yainer Diaz, Velasquez, Altuve, Trammell, Allen, and Jeremy Pena.

We've got Hayden Wisneski. So, do do do, Ben Rice. He did go yesterday. He does look good again here today, so definitely could be a back-to-back. If there was a second guy, I would look at probably Jazz. Is there somebody down there? Spencer Jones. Ooh.

>> Now, I still kind of like Jazz better, but if there was a third, I do think, you know, Spencer Jones would be worthy of that spot, but I KHR's going to go Rice, Grisham, Jazz, Wells, Bellinger, and Goldy, Garcia, Ramos, Caballero, Jones, Lombard, Rosario, and Ali Sanchez. Swing and strike for Wessneski. Looks

better than Gerrit Cole. But not like amazing. Now, we've got Noah Camargo and Eric Gaddy. Top three, Vinnie P, Vlad, and Kirk. For the match-ups. So, Eric Gaddy, hm. Bobby's starting to turn in the right spot. He does look just a hair better than Vinnie, but Vinnie's got better form, which is pushing him up.

So, I do think overall, I'd probably look at those two. You know, Salvy and Jenson, yeah, they look good, but I do like Bobby and Vinnie over them. So, I'm going to stick with both the the Bobby and the Vinnie. I KHR's going to go Vinnie Cags, Massi, Bobby, Isbell, Brave, Lofton, Jenson, Perez, Collins, Lugo, Mealey,

and Tolbert. Swing and strike does not look good for Eric Gaddy. Maybe that means that he goes and dices them up. Who knows? Same thing for Noah Camargo. Really does not look all that good for swing and strike. Okamoto is getting the KHR. Okamoto, are you going to do something for us? That would be amazing.

Vlad looks good, too, but you know, that's Vlad. Yeah, I mean, Okamoto looks like the guy. Valenzuela down there looks a little bit better than normal. Kind of 61 hard hit, 22 fly ball. Leads the team in hard hit. That's pretty decent. I think that's those are going to be my two. Uh Okamoto, Valenzuela.

So KHR's going to go Okamoto, Kirk, Vlad, Straw, Valenzuela, uh Cameron, Luke, Clement, Springer, Mikedoom, Jimenez, Betancourt, Sanchez. Oh yeah, on here which team did I like better? Yankees or Astros? Yankees, right? Yeah, Yankees. Fairly. Uh Kansas City or the Blue Jays? We just went through both. Think I like the Blue Jays. They just

they have a more balanced team. Um okay. Next we've got Lindor, Young, and Baez as the top three here for this game. So Sean Manaea, swing and a strike. Really doesn't look all that great. KHR's going to Vaughn. And then you've got Sanchez and Bowers below him. And then William Contreras has been

pretty pretty hot. So I'm thinking I like William Contreras again, um as well as Vaughn again. I I believe those are the same two from yesterday. Uh I'm going to run them back there. So they both look good here. They're both facing a lefty here. Um so I like that. KHR's going to go

Vaughn, Sanchez, Bowers, uh Contreras, Ortiz, Leruth, Chirinos, Frelick, Turang, Pratt, Yelich, Hamilton, and Mitchell. Then we've got Mesoraco. So, let's see. K charge is going to go to Lindor. Jared Young's got good barrel. These Mets look pretty good, but it's Mesoraco, man. Granted, Mesoraco hasn't necessarily been himself either. But, he's still getting the, you know,

the strikeout score. So, Lindor looks the best. Bench looks also really good, too. I think those are going to be my favorite two. Is Lindor and Bench. You know, could Luis Robert, could Torrens, could Young? Like, any of these guys could do it. They all have a good hard hit. They're all right around 50%.

You know, Mesoraco is throwing 100 mph, so that makes sense. You know, half the time when they hit it, it's going to be hit hard. And it looks like, you know, they give up, he gives up a fly ball, too. It's just a matter of do they hit it? And, you know, if we take that into

account, I think Bench, Lindor, and then Torrens have the best options to be able to hit it. Um so, K charge is going to go going to go Lindor, Bench, Young, Torrens, Robert, Baez, Bichette, Alvarez, Simeon, Morel, Ewing, Wagaman, Pache. Matchup Lindor, Young, Baez, Bench, Simeon, Torrens, Bichette, Alvarez, Ewing, Robert, Wagaman, Morel, Pache.

I'm going to take the Mets here, man. The Mets look like they match up better. Mondesi swinging strike. Not bad. Uh top three here, we've got Olson, Betts, and Baldwin, Yamamoto, and Sale. This, I mean, that just sounds like it would be you know, two pitchers just going at it, right? Uh swing and strike.

Eh, not as great as what you would want to see from Chris Sale, but it's Chris Sale. Mookie does look probably the best here. And then Max Muncy surprisingly looks good left on left here, too. There's [ __ ] and Tommy. I think Tommy looks better than [ __ ] Overall, Mookie and Muncy probably look the best

on paper. Then Edmond's form's heating up, so if there was going to be three against Chris Sale, those would be the three. If I had to narrow it down to two, I'd probably say Muncy and Betts. So, K Jager's going to go Betts Betts, Rojas, Muncy, Tucker, [ __ ] Edmond, Freeman, Shoha or Shohei.

Uh Fiduccia, Cole, Hernandez, Retherford, and Alec Thomas matchup. Betts, Muncy, Rojas, Tucker, Otani, Cole, Hernandez, Edmond, Freeman, Hernandez, Fiduccia, Retherford, and Alec Thomas. >> [snorts] >> We've got Yamamoto as the last matchup. Well, not the last matchup, but let's see. Swing and strike. Looks a little bit better for Yamamoto than it does for Chris Sale.

So, let's see. K Jager is going Olson, Baldwin, Yasz, Riley, Thomas, Murphy, Albies, Acuna, Dubon, Kim, Smith, Harris, and Hicklen. Do I really like any of these guys? No. I think Yamamoto's going to have a good game here. I don't really like any of these guys, but if I had to choose any of these

guys, I think I would choose either Olson or Yaz. But, that's just me. So, matchups going to go Olson, Baldwin, Yaz, Acuña, [clears throat] Riley, Harris, Kim, Thomas, Murphy, Smith, Albies, Dubón, and Hicklen. Last game, uh top three, Turner, Hill, Nootbaar, and Carroll. So, let's see. K HR is going to go to Corbin.

Corbin does look pretty good against Roop um with him. I mean, a 56% hard hit, 28% fly ball. That's pretty darn good. Tim Tawa down there, I think that's probably the next guy or the other guy. I like him there. Good form, good barrel. Solid hard hit, solid fly ball. I like that.

Uh yeah, those are going to be my two there for the Diamondbacks. K HR is going to go Carroll, Nootbaar, Moreno, Kepler, Tawa, Perdomo, Arenado, Vargas, Fernandez, Barroso, McCann, Walsh, Schmidt, and Lawlar. Matchup, Nootbaar, Carroll, Kepler, Moreno, Perdomo, Arenado, Tawa, Vargas, Walsh, Schmidt, Barroso, Fernandez, McCann, and Lawlar. Uh swing and miss, really does not look good, but does look

like he's going to get some good or some soft contact. Uh which, you know, we'll see how that goes. And then the Giants against Jose Cabrera, let's see. So, he gets some good barrel. They have more people over 10% than what the Diamondbacks do. Let's see here. So, Turner Hill is very small sample.

He does look pretty good. As does Devers like always. And then right there in the middle it's going to be Jung Ho Lee. So, he should be good for you know like bases or um you know hits runs RBIs things like that. Um And then I I I'm really liking the Hill and Devers here. So,

Okay, Charles going to go Hill Jung Ho Lee Devers Gilbert McCray Firmin Basabe Kennedy Cavanaugh Whitcomb Kisner Cox and Coss. Matchup Hill Devers Lee Firmin Basabe Gilbert Cavanaugh McCray Kennedy Whitcomb Kisner Cox and Coss. Who looks better? And the Diamondbacks really do look better. So, that is going to be the slate.
