Beautiful MJ, aka Raven. So, this is what we're going to do. I'm going to teach you how people cold read. This is cold reading. I'm going to teach it. You have Do you have any questions? Ask later. Let's define cold reading. Cold reading is a bunch of statements that someone makes about somebody that makes them
seem like they know about the person. It was uh made famous by a guy named Barnum Bailey in Barnum Bailey Circus. That was a [ __ ] genius. Okay? Now, MJ's also my student, well, kind of, in the magical arts. So, basically, listen. So, the reason why I'm doing this for you, well, one, they're going to learn about
deception. Is because if you're going to learn real magic, you have to know what fake magic is. You get it? So, you can't fall prey to that [ __ ] So, there's some ways There's some basic statements. Now, if you have any questions, ask me cuz this is you and I. It's like private now,
okay? Um there's Let me check the time. There's some basic uh statements and general statements that you can make about somebody. And they're going to ring true for the majority of people. In case they don't ring true, you have a way of what's called calibrating. Calibrating if something's going too high, you bring it
down. If something's going too So, if there was a calibrator on, let's say, uh temperature of the room, if it was getting too hot, it would cool it off. If it was getting too cold, it would heat it up to keep the same level. That's what a calibration is. Goes up, comes down. You get it?
Calibrator keeps it a certain level. So, there are certain uh a good cold reading, you start with general statements that are true for the majority of the world. And then you watch the person and you look for yes and no's uh subtle body language. If they're agreeing with it, you go that direction.
