In this video, we're going to see what an imbalance, also called a value gap, is. We'll see why it's a key level in the markets and how we, as individual traders, can use it to place take-profit orders or enter the market. At the end of this video, I'll give a concrete example by taking a live position using
all the concepts I've taught you. I hope you're ready! Let's get started. First, friends, we're going to see what an imbalance is. An imbalance is simply an imbalance that we see on our charts, and it's recognizable when we see three consecutive candles where the first doesn't touch the third. Let me explain what I just said.
Regarding these first three candles, what I'm going to identify is the low of the first candle, which I'll mark with a red line like this. Once I've identified this low, I'm going to do the exact same thing, but by identifying the high of the third candle in the series. And we can see that this first

I can clearly see that the first candle doesn't touch the third candle, so this is also an imbalance level. When the price returns to this level, it
will act as support in the market. To recap, finding an imbalance zone is very simple: you just have to identify a series of three candles. If you notice that the first candle doesn't touch the third candle, then there's an imbalance, and you know there's imbalance. Here we're looking at the British pound against the US dollar on a
