Christa Pike 911 calls reveal confusion after botched execution

This episode getting into the latest on Christa Pike specifically. There are 911 calls that have just come out. The 911 calls that were made from the prison after the botched execution.

When Christa Pike was not dying, there were several different calls and you're going to hear those calls in this episode. Um, and it really sort of sheds light into what went wrong. So, I'm going to get into that and also the latest on the investigation into the botch execution, what may happen next,

So, it it appears that there was a lot of confusion when things did not go as planned during Chris Pike's botched execution. And the reason that I say that we've known that, but the reason that I say that now is because we now

have the 911 calls to to back that up. And we also now have a look at some of the dispatch logs. And I'm going to get to those logs in a second. They were obtained by the Associated Press through a public records request. Um, so I'll lay that out for you, but first I I want

you guys to hear the 911 calls that came in from the prison. Uh the AP obtained two calls. One is from Christa Pike's attorney and the other is from the prison itself. And the calls, they come in after Christa Pike received two lethal doses of Penttobarbatl. Um remember she got both doses, which is

the protocol, but she did not die. Uh, witnesses say she was on the table in the execution chamber essentially just snoring. Um, and it seems that is when uh the 911 calls started coming in.
