land that the government wants to use for developments the International Airport the Moto GP the the corporates are coming in and they're wanting to build their their hotels and their apartments and their restaurants and what and um the lady I spoke with in the last video down at um to Jaan the beach there was saying that

whenever the government decides that it's time to move on you're going to be moving on well the uh that's happened the government have told um the people on tangan that have their their little warong and restaurants and surfing schools that it's time to go they're going to develop the beach so um yeah

it's a bit sad you know the the people have um have nowhere to live essentially so they're reduced to moving to you know what are already kind of overpopulated little um Shanty towns um yeah it's a bit sad really you you living in in in lombok sir no I did live in Indonesia

for a few years but now I live back in Italy oh back in Italy and you're just coming back every now and again to visit yeah my wife sister she lives in Lomo oh okay so you're married to an Indonesian person then yes uh can your reasons for coming to Indonesia you you had this

idea before that you wanted to come or you just arrived one day and spent some time here and thought I really like it here so the first reason was after school I wanted to get away from Italy mhm after I finished all my school I just wanted to get away and my cin lived

already in Indonesia oh I see so I went to my most far away relative to visit yeah to visit and it was the best decision of your life yeah yeah it was a good decision yeah so when I first came here I stayed with my cousin and then after a bit I started traveling around

mostly by hitchhiking and uh I found it the way here is so the people are so welcoming everybody takes you you stay at their place it's so relaxing like I fell in love with Indonesia immediately like when I think about another country to go I always come back you always here I may I ask you so I noticed uh you

you you have a prosthetic leg um can I ask what happened here so basically uh it my leg didn't grow like the femo right like my knees here mhm and my toes are here ah so I have like um 35 CM high heels this ah okay okay and then this is from birth obviously yeah yeah so it's

now not a problem for you to so I the reason is probably I broke my hip in the belly of my man may I ask your name David David thank you so much David I really appreciate you giving the time here hello high five the way I travel these days is vastly different to how it was uh 10 or

20 years ago I've just booked my room for another week or so uh to stay here in Cuda because I like it I did have aspirations of heading further east and covering a bit of ground but the reality is I don't feel like it I there's some pressure with the channel to put up new

stuff and all that type of thing but you know what I'm staying for a little while when you walk along the foreshore of Cur you see these little kids trucks or kids cars all the time and they're um they're really really popular there's a couple over there this is your business sir yes

yes so uh these uh how much for for is for the children to ride in this this uh for or for I'm bu so if you if you want to buy this oh 2 million my friend oh 2 million yes uhhuh and how long does the battery last is it a uh 1 hour oh that's

not small battery 1 hour okay and how long have you had the business here in uh 20 years 20 years yeah oh really that's a long time yeah long good business then yeah yeah and how many of these cars do you have yeah that's my friend have oh that's a different one yeah different so how many do you have

four you have four yeah four uhhuh and what do you you where how do you bring them here or you keep the they stay over there have uh sh have shop you keep them there sh one man uh 1 million one man okay I pay in uhhuh uh-huh to keep them yeah yeah okay thank you so much yeah I

really appreciate it yeah have a good day I saw you walking down the beach sir and I have to compliment the beard I really like the beard I said I want to talk to this man because he looks interesting you know I get the feeling you've been here quite a while yeah well

yeah was I had like my 30 days for the Visa without uh yeah just arrival uhhuh and I had to fly back to not back further on I go uh from here to Malaysia Loa next are these places you've been before uh yeah like 30 years ago oh right right that's they're different

places now they're very different but I like to see them again yeah they're coming back now uh what are your feelings about it yeah well um my feelings about good question how to describe um it it's just good to be back here so and um yeah and uh I I needed some time

for me so that's uh I don't I well I want to see these places again and but the most important for thing for me was just to um yeah to be here and to relax to come down to let everything go from what I left behind from what was your name sorry I'm
