EPISODE 7 | 1122 King Road Before the Crime | The House, Layout & Complaints

By the morning of November 13th, 2022, 1122 King Road would become the center of one of the largest homicide investigations in not just Idaho history, but possibly national history. But that's not how the people who lived here knew it. Before this morning, this was just a student rental house in Moscow. six bedrooms, three levels, a

neighborhood surrounded by other student residences, and the location was just a short distance away from the University of Idaho campus. There was nothing about this address that originally announced what was coming. Before we move any further into the investigation, I want to take a step back, not to November 13th, not into the investigation, but

into the house itself. In today's episode, I want to spend a few moments actually walking through the house. I want to look at the structure itself because understanding the layout will help us understand what officers and witnesses are describing when they describe the locations in the house, the proximity to each other, and what was

happening. I found this amazing 3D virtual walkthrough, [music] and I'm going to go ahead and link the source in the description for you if you want to take a look yourself. So, here we've got the exterior of the King Road home, [music] and we've just got a couple of different images of it.

And what's really interesting about this house is that it is three levels. And so, these are the floor plans. [music] And you can see that we have that first ground floor where we have Bethany and that spare bedroom. [music] We have the second floor where we have Zana and Dylan. And then on that third

floor, Kaye and Maddiey's rooms. So, we're just going to go ahead and take a look at all of those rooms.
