Everyone is racing to be successful right now. And as you'd guess, 99.99% of them will not, in fact, become successful because they're all obsessed with the wrong thing. They're obsessed with the clod code skills that they're collecting from Instagram posts that tell you to comment a keyword in order for them to DMU
so you can follow them so that they can send you the link to the skill that you're going to try once and never use again. They're obsessed with the YouTube videos that teach them how to build a profitable business in five actionable steps, and I still don't understand why people are so obsessed with actionable steps and bullet
point summaries, because that's not going to help you in the slightest if you don't have understanding or context or experience. They're obsessed with tactics. You know, the same knowledge that everyone else has access to. Do you not realize that all the information you could ever need to make $100 million is readily available to you online, in books,
or just inside of an AI chat if you talk to it long enough. Have you ever stopped and wondered why everyone in the world isn't making millions of dollars right now? Have you ever considered that the actionable advice you crave so much won't get you anywhere, unless you know how the pieces you're
picking up fit into the entire puzzle? So why is this? Why are so many people trying to desperately aim for success but get nowhere close to achieving it? One is because they're exchanging one form of cheap dopamine for another, more insidious form. I would argue that endless tactic collection by endlessly consuming YouTube
videos around business and self-improvement is worse than just doom scrolling brain rot videos, because you're getting a sense of fake progress. At least with the doom scrolling videos, you just feel bad about yourself. But with the self-improvement in business and even this video, you feel bad about yourself. But you also get this false certainty
