Movsar Evloev is ready to prove Alexander Volkanovski wrong at UFC 333: "He's not that special"

Mub sir, I know you're a very disciplined man, so I assume when you win that title, there won't be any champagne or cigars. But I think you'll finally break that refined sugar fast that you've been on. What's the first dessert we're going to celebrate with after you win the title? >> Let's say tiramisu.

>> Okay. As in what has it been like 3 years now, no sugar? >> Yeah, a little more than 3 years. >> That's going to be a good tiramisu. >> Yeah, but but I ate a lot of like fruits, dates, so I don't have uh deficit of sugar. So I don't eat the

added sugar, so I can like feel feel feel uh more light, you know, and recover faster. >> That's going to be the best tiramisu of your life, I think. >> We'll see. >> [laughter] >> Now Volk was just in here and he has a lot of respect for your resume, but he thinks stylistically

How do you feel when you hear the champ dismiss your chances so much? >> I hope when he's talking like that, he believe he's talking.

Because he was focused on Rufis camp. He better to to focus his own uh and uh of course he's a great fighter. He's the one of the best featherweight in history. And that gives me more motivation to prove people that I'm not like fake. I'm not just for for you know, to fight. I'm here to

win the belt to stay as long we can, like to to to beat everyone after that. So I'm welcoming everybody and I want to be busy, busy champion. And of course I respect him. He's the only guy he called my name and being champion uh uh in doing this is you know it's
