Okay. Okay. Hey guys, welcome to the live stream, guys. Um, but my name is Bonzo. I've been making videos for for a long time now. um took a one a small little like brief history of me if you guys don't know. But um I started making videos, found this camera that my dad had. It's a dad cam. I'm

sure that many of you probably have this laying around the house collecting dust. And uh my sisters at the time were posting these videos onto this website called YouTube. And it was so early. I was just like, "Oh, like that's cool. Like I can do that." Um, and so they kind of like were doing vlogs and I

wanted to do the same thing. So I took that camera and um, started making videos, was making uh, skate videos. I was the the filmer of the skate team or the skate crew. And this was back in like Silicon Valley like Sunnyville area. And we were doing these like skate videos um, uh, and uh, just making these montages

and just slapping like all types of music on it. Um, and then high school I got into it a little bit more and started taking it kind of a little bit more serious. I was doing more short films and stuff and all random types of videos. Um, and we were doing like these

lightsaber scenes, Star Wars scenes cuz we were all kind of like into like Star Wars and stuff. Um, sci-fi type stuff. And um, yeah. So that's that's like me, my my friend. Um, yeah. So many of you guys are here to learn how to make videos. Um, but why why make videos? Um,

uh, some of you are probably What's it? >> Sorry. One more thing. The live stream just has the first screen. >> Oh. Oh. >> I don't know if we can update that. >> Oh, yeah. Sorry. >> Sorry. Okay, there we go. Um, yeah. So, why make videos? Um, that's why you guys are here. Um, some of you are probably building a brand. Some of you probably want to go viral. Some of you are probably hosting an event and you guys want to get people to go, right? or you guys are building B2B,

a tech product, SAS, indie apps, and you guys need a launch video. Um, you want to write better stories, or you just want to learn how to make cool videos, right? Um, there's so many ways to make videos and so many reasons why to make videos, but it all comes down to just knowing how to

write a story, right? Um, I'll give you guys an example or give you guys some like frameworks to kind of think about like what is storytelling or how to write stories. Um, or why stories. Um, so it's one of the it's one of humanity's oldest art forms. It's still one of the most

powerful ways to shape how people think. The stories you tell are views of your life. Um, here's an example of a copy. I became everything I ever wanted. Take a second to kind of look at that and read it to yourself. And then I'm going to ask some of you guys, how does

that make you feel >> and you can just raise your hand if you guys want to answer. >> Like fulfilled. >> Fulfilled, right? >> Like the scene of like Thanos resting after. >> Wow. >> Like he's like resting, right? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Yo, >> inspired. >> Inspired. Okay. Uh maybe one more.

>> Okay. >> Like satisfied and relieved. >> Okay. Okay. Yeah. So overall just positive vibes, right? Um same thing for me. Um every great story starts with something that gets you to care. Um and one thing to keep in mind is the writing alone should be interesting enough, but the visuals with it should

add even more. And so now we add the visuals, you know, we have this YouTube thumbnail and we have the title copy. Um, but something's going on here. Something is like going against each other, right? Um, this person goes by Natalie Lynn and she's a YouTuber. I I I really like like watching her stuff. Um, and she has this

YouTube called I Became Everything I Ever Wanted, but her her face is like not it's kind of telling some stuff. It's like not happy. It's not positive. It's like, "Oh, wait. Like, he became everything you wanted. Like, what was going on here?" Um, so it creates this like interesting dilemma and I I'm like curious to want

even more. Um, I'm going to click on this and and watch the video, right? Um, another example. Um, I'm glad my mom died. I'm glad I'm glad my mom died. How does this one make you guys feel? feel >> curious. >> Curious. >> Conflicted. >> Is that um >> If you know what it is, if you know what

it is already, um I I want I want to save it for the for the for after. But um but I'm curious. How does it make you feel? >> When I first heard about it, like it made me feel like whoever wrote it had probably a very [ __ ] mom. >> Wow. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Um,

and now you know when we look at it with the visuals, it's again the same thing as the last one. It's like, whoa, like this one is uh what's going what's going on here? She's she's happy. She looks happy. The colors look bright, vibrant, like but the title is I'm glad my mom

died. Um, again, an interesting dilemma, but it makes you curious to want even more like, you know, to read more about it. Um, now I'm going show you another example. There's a new wave of filmmakers coming. Personally, I'm like, yo, if I heard this, I'm like, where? Like, is it me? I like I like movies.

Like, I want to know if I'm part of the new wave, and if not, like, who are the other filmmakers? When are they coming? You know, so um the next the next one I'm I'm going to show is is going to be a video. So, hopefully um you guys can hear the video playing.

There's a new wave of filmmakers coming stuck on tiny screens in small. But what if they can live on a big competion movies and bring theaters back? See, if you get 100,000 views on YouTube, you get paid this. But if you get 100,000 people to show up in a theater, you get paid this. So, while Hollywood invests

millions into short form series, what if we went the opposite way and told longer stories with more meaningful ones and to be experienced in person because while our attention spans are cooked, we still believe that people want great stories. And it doesn't matter if it's a big budget movie or film made by one

person in their bedroom because there is no right way to be a film. >> Pretty cool video, right? Um the visuals, the two phones connecting together, like who who would have thought that would have been a sick visual to show, right? Um but what actually makes like a great story? like why are those copies why are

those texts so um interesting for us to to look at and to hear um you know for uh just to think in frameworks uh the way I think about it is three three kind of like three rules is uh it's clear it's meaningful and it creates an action if people can't understand what you're

saying in the first eight to 10 seconds they're gonna probably stop listening Okay, I I'll show you guys an example. Oh, also, and if you guys have any questions, feel free to stop me. Just raise your hand. Um, I want this to be as uh collaborative as possible. But I'm going to show you guys an

example um what I mean by this. >> I'm 27 years old and I got a clue what I'm doing with my life. Okay, maybe I'm lying. I know what I'm good at and what I want to do. It's just that everybody around me looks like they got it all figured out. I keep wondering behind

me stand up. >> Okay. How many How many of you guys I know it's kind of hard to hear. Um but how many you guys were able to hear that um and kind of get the gist of it? That was a 4-minute video by the way. Do you guys want to watch the rest? Kind of.

probably maybe maybe not right now, right? Uh maybe if you're at home, you know, watching it, you probably might scroll past like the 8 10 seconds, right? But it sounds like a very personal personal thing, right? Like this person is giving their entire personal uh conflict to us. Um, and you would think that like, oh, like you

know, a lot of people would care, but um, I think that like the way you package it, uh, if you don't package it right, it's not going to it's not going to stick with people, right? Um, I'm going, uh, yeah, you like you may have a great story to tell, but if you don't

package it right, people won't probably stay and listen. I'm going to give you guys another example. >> I have four months left to make my first short film. Now, if you're new here, hi. My name is and I've been making videos like these for the past two years or so. I don't have a film making background.

In fact, I actually come from an engineering degree, so this feels like a full 180. I'm selftaught when it comes to filming and editing, and I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing. To be honest, it's never really been a dream of mine to become a director or a filmmaker, but the idea of the short

film came from the fact that I don't want my parents' stories to get lost. For some reason, making a short film just feels so wildly different from making videos on here. But if I had the blind illusion to learn how to tell stories on here, not knowing how to edit or how to film, then who's to say I

can't do the same with this short film. With only one month left, I realized that my procrastination stems from the fear of making something that I'm not proud of. I'm scared because of how personal this film feels to me. I'm scared because I want to make my parents proud. And I'm scared because it feels

like time is running out. But I think instead of letting all these fears stop me, it's even more of a sign to just move forward through the discomfort. >> So, feel free to follow along if you want some more updates on what the short film was about, how I'm navigating the unknowns, and what I'm learning along

the way. >> That was great. Who Who here was like following along the entire time? Okay, most of us are. What? Right. Um I watched that about like five times now. Um and there was something interesting about those two videos that I just showed. Um but I I'm going to leave it up to you guys. Um, and a and asked like

what made what was the difference between the two videos? >> Um, I actually kind of dislike this one more >> partially because of I agree like she's packaged it well. Right. There's the captions for stimulation and the quick cuts, but it felt like it was like >> um I don't know too too catered to

social media. I don't think >> the story as a core was important. She just knows how to cater to the algorithm. >> So, I don't know. Those are kind of my thoughts when I was watching. >> No. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Anybody else? Anybody else? >> Oh, yeah. >> Um, for me, I was thinking the first

video I didn't know who he was, so the second one it was more like, oh, I'm going to tell you exactly who I am. I'm an engineer. I have no idea what I'm doing, you know, and I'm gonna I'm scared. And so, there seems to be I understand where he's coming from. >> Yeah. But I also

was able to follow along much easier with her story >> and it seemed like she had a lot more to lose and >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Anybody else? >> Yeah. I think like she added some more like specificity about her life that made it more relatable to me. >> So like I have a similar background to

her, but also like I'm not doing anymore. So it felt reliant

out his book and it made me like all right. >> Right. Right. Right. No wrong answers here. Um to to your point, yeah, like it's a lot a lot of this stuff that that we'll go over is very um I don't I don't want to cater too much to social media and the algorithmic stuff, but for the

sake of just like the you know uh telling the stories online and and and this and the and the way to like create content for for nowadays, um I'm going to I'm going to just try to like kind of lean into it a little bit, but not too much. Um, but yeah, exactly. Um, neither

of these stories are really bad. If you stuck around, like they're both telling something like truthful that they're that's going on. Um, they're both very personal. That's already really hard to do, especially if you're talking about your entire life online. That's like super vulnerable, like, you know, like that's already hard enough. Um, but

yeah, just one is packaged differently. Um, yeah, if you stuck around to watch either stories, you eventually feel some connection, right? Um, and when there's a connection between the viewer and the video, it creates value. Whether you're building a channel, an online series, talking about your app, an online biz, etc. You're not just trying to impress,

you're giving something in return for watching. Um, value comes in all types of form. If you're trying to build something like a product, like a tech product, app, whatever, uh, most of the time you're probably trying to save people money and time, um, if you're making content, uh, maybe you're making people laugh, maybe you're

making people cry or feel a certain way, um, or to relate. Um, and if you're a YouTuber that is making essay videos, uh, you're giving people interesting info. Um when there is value, people take action. So why do we want to why do we want people to take an action? >> Yeah. Yeah. I'm asking you guys

>> because art or any form of creativity is not a monologue. It's a conversation. It has to be perceived. And so if no one takes action, the the thing is not complete. There's no conversation. >> Anybody else?

You Yeah. Yeah. You want them to buy your stuff. Yeah. >> Yeah. Oh, go ahead. >> Videos are just like a way to capture like a story and a moment in time and a message that like hopefully will change people's lives or even way in the future. >> Right. Right. Right. >> A way to have impact on the world.

>> Right. Right. Right. Um Oh, you were you dead? >> Oh, it's ours. Sorry. Um, okay. How many of y'all have seen this uh upside down pyramid before? Okay, a few. Um, so if you haven't, this is what we call a funnel. And it's m it's mostly used in like marketing strategy, you know, all that stuff. Um

um this is uh something I learned uh three years ago when I didn't know [ __ ] about like how to make videos. Like I was purely just making videos for the fun of it. And this was like way before like algorithms were a thing. I didn't even know what an algorithm was. Um, but

my like mentors kind of like got me thinking in this like structure in this like framework where you know I I'll kind of explain a little bit, right? Like imagine you're a DJ and you're going to be performing a show in Berlin and you want people to go go to Berlin or you want people in Berlin or people

to go to your show. Um, okay. So what do you do? You make videos, right? You make videos on Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, makes all type of videos. And then let's just say you have a website for more info um where people can learn more about you, they can listen to your music. And then so they go to your

landing page after they see a couple videos, right? And then they see this landing page and assuming that it's all like set up uh and it's all pretty and it's all like cohesive, right, with your brand. Um I'm and you know, you're thinking like, "Oh, wow. This person is sick. I kind of want to, you know,

follow for more. So then you have this little button that says, "Hey, drop your email here and I'll give you more updates to like any shows that I'm doing, any EPs, any music that I'm dropping." Right? And then that's when they sign up. Um, and that is the thing that that that valuable thing that

you're making, right? Um, I kind of like to think about it like like kind of like a this is like an analogy that I might butcher, so bear with me, but like uh the way I thought about it is like okay, you're kind of like asking someone out. You're kind of like you're kind of like trying to dress

um really well and then like you're kind of like, you know, uh you're kind of trying to get people to notice you, right? And then when they notice you, then you, you know, they go they they talk to you for a little bit and then it's like email comes around the email. It's like, okay, like now I'm now I'm

kind of asking you out on a day and then if they say yes, they give you their email and then then signups it's like, okay, the the conversation continue continues, right? Um that might that might that might have not like I might have not done that pretty well, but hopefully it made sense. Um, but let's

say you don't have a landing page, right? You just have Instagram. You just want to stay on Instagram. You don't want to do anything more. You're not selling a product. You're just making content, right? Same thing. You make a couple videos, people want to see more of your content, they look at your

profile, and then um, you know, they've seen two or three more, they want to just follow. They want to subscribe. They kind of trust you now, right? That's what that's kind of what happens. Um, and I I'm saying this cuz I kind of want y'all to think in in in kind of like a structured way when when trying

to tell stories when it comes to telling stories online. Um, mastering this is very very very powerful, especially today. If you can master this, you can sell anything. You can start movements. You can even get a politician elected. So, how do we start? How do we start telling these stories? The thing I want you all to to also

think about is working backwards from the thing you want people to do. Um, I'll give you guys an example. Hopefully you you guys can read this. I I'll read it out loud, but this is a I was working at a startup called Buildspace where we were working on this nights and weekends uh program where we

for six weeks people will join online and we'll help them take their ideas from zero to one. could be anything. Could be music, B2B, um, anything, any type of ideas. And we were kind of struggling. We were kind of struggling to get people to join our online program called Nights of Weekends. And so my

friend Jeffrey, who I learned a lot of marketing and writing from, um, he said, "Okay, we have a couple thousand people on our on our email list. Let's send them an email." U, but then people won't pe some people won't answer the emails. I I can't even remember the last time I answered an email or looked at an email,

right? Um, but let's read it real quick. We we uh he ended up writing this copy. The headline is, "You're going to get aspired. Hey, it's Jeffrey and Josh from Bill Space here. We grind. We pull allnighters. We work our butt cheeks off." All of this for one important thing, a show for 32 outstand

outstanding builders. But Farsa isn't happy with the current numbers. He said there aren't enough signups. and now he's been acting weird around this. We're worried. Look, the job market in NSF isn't that great right now. And Josh has an expensive Pizza Hut diet to maintain. So, please help Two Brothers out. Go check out what Final 32 is. And

please RSVP. PS. Don't tell FZA we sent this email to you. And then we added this cute little photo. And then Ty by Jeffrey. Um, how many of y'all like that email? Um, why? Why? I'm curious. I like that it's lowerase. It's casual. Sounds like it's coming from a friend. It's very It's like It's like a text.

>> Right. Right. Right. >> Longer. >> Right. >> I think it's funny. Like butt cheeks. >> Right. All right. >> Oh, sorry. Were you were you done? >> No, I was going to say like picture. >> Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. >> It's like different from usual emails. It's serious. >> Yeah. >> Which is nice.

When I worked at a startup, well, honestly, when you work at any startup, but I didn't know you can write emails like this. I didn't even know you can do that in emails. It kind of opened up so much doors doors to me. I was like, "Oh, wow. I didn't think about that." Like,

nobody likes emails. So, how do you make it fun? You know what I mean? >> Um, but you open it anyways because that's kind of how we kind of like assimilated into like operating every morning. He's like, "Got to check my email cuz there's important stuff in there, right?" Um, but yeah. Uh,

but I want you guys to know that, you know, we worked backwards for for this email to happen. We worked backwards from the intention, which is we just wanted people to show up to our to our event to our to our program. I'll show you guys another example. It's a video. >> So, my dad thinks I'm crazy for leaving

a that I just got about two months ago. >> Yeah, but it's not about the money though. >> You think it's stupid? >> Of course. >> You know, he's probably right. Why would I leave a job where my boss is telling me what I need to do every second of the day or a job that gives me total

creative freedom to do what I want while getting paid for it?

Yeah. So, that one um I to to be honest, I didn't have a CTA for that one. I I actually started from the hook first and uh from the beginning first and then after I was like, "Oh man, I don't know what I don't know what to kind of like do at the end." And so I I I just kept

thinking like, "Okay, like let me just tell people to comment for more." Like comment for more, you know? Um, there's nothing wrong with telling if you don't have like a if you're not selling a product, if you're not selling anything, if you're not trying to make a series, you can literally just tell people just

follow for more. Um, and that's okay. You don't have to have a crazy CTA. Um, but once you know what you want people to do, then you got to be direct. Um, I didn't say like, "Hey, my name is Bonso. Like, I'm going to make more videos like these in the future if you

want to come follow, right?" Like, nah, that's too much. Like, just just fall off for more. Just fall for more. Um, you know, uh, I'd love to say I love this question. What the hell are you trying to say? You ever have you ever have like homies talk to you like in a

in a in a in like some setting and like they're they're talking about like they're rambling about whatever. They start off like good and then they start rambling for other things. Um, unfortunately I do that sometimes too with my friends, but um, you know, sometimes we're in our head like, "What the hell are you trying to say?" And if

you know, if if people don't get it the first time, which they won't, especially if you're building something unique and original or like something that has never been done before, like people are just not going to get it. So, you got to just keep iterating until something finally clicks. Um I I want to give you

an example from my own life. So uh back in 2023 I got my first startup job. Um and you know on paper my role was full stack video producer and I had no idea what the hell that was. Um was I like you know I was making videos or or doing all types of media like I don't I didn't

know. Um, yeah, I had no idea what I was doing, but my goal was to get as many people as possible to start on their own ideas. And here was here was the one here was one of the first videos I ever made. Here are seven games that people are making in Nights of Week season 4.

questions. >> Oh god. Oh yeah.

Um, my girlfriend actually uh thinks that video was really good, but I think it was it was kind of trash, but I'm I'm curious what you guys thought. Um, was >> it was amazing. >> It was amazing. Oh, thank you, man. Thank you being too nice. Um, yeah, I made a a lot of trash videos, but I kept

going and I kept trying to find the story that would kind of tell the right like thing about our what we were doing at the company. And I couldn't figure it out. I couldn't figure it out. I did I was just like relying on so many people, relying on um my co-workers to kind of

help me out. Um, but one day, uh, this video, um, I made this video and and something happened. Something happened in this video. >> The very first one that we picked to win $25,000. >> This is far. 3 months ago, we hosted a live stream show where 32 builders from around the world competed to win 100K

prize money. And the voters who decided, well, they were actually our live stream audience. and he's doing it all over again. Content creators, engineers, musicians, text artists, filmmakers, everybody that's building a cool idea. And because this competition is live, anything can happen. >> So, if you want to come and vote on the

next big ideas, hit the RSVP. Yeah. So, September 11th, 2023, something clicked that day. Um, I'm I want to ask like what do you guys think? Uh, what do you think happened? >> Format. >> Found a format. >> When I think about the difference between the first video and the second video, this one is so obvious and that

it tells a story. There's so many more elements being told where it's just like here are some examples. >> Right. Right. So, it's obvious, direct. Um, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead. >> Way better hook. >> Way better hook. Oh, man. I can't I can't even remember the hook I said. What was it?

>> Well, it was him talking like I'm going to give away $25,000. >> Oh, that's right. That's right. That's right. Um, yeah. Were you saying something? >> Um, I like the footage of like the previous winner. >> That energy, it kind of got me excited. >> The footage of the previous winner. Great. Right. Um, one more. One more.

even a clear call to action. Very direct. >> Clear call to action. Very direct. Right. Right. Right. Um yeah, this was the uh this was an event that like put my back against the wall. I had like I'm telling you guys like I I was kind of like I don't know what to do. I don't

know how to get people to sign up. And I was spending all day trying to make this video to post the next day. And I was just like, why am I why am I overthinking this? Like, why am I trying to be around the bush? Let me just write something down and then let me just say

it how I say it to a friend. Like, hey, this is uh this is what's happening, right? Um you should pull up. And you know, I'm not saying like I wrote it like that, but I was just trying to just kind of take take away the actual things that were going to happen into a paper.

And um the other thing that that I unlocked was that my friend Jeffrey was like, you know, this video didn't actually perform that well. It actually uh it it didn't it it still was pretty bad. But he told me like, "Hey, there's something that you unlocked. Um do you know what it is?" And I was like, "No, I don't I

don't know what I unlocked. Let's see." Um and he said, "You unlocked your like your voice." And I was like, "My voice?" And then I was like, "Huh, that's right." like my voice is kind of unique. And so I started like thinking this more and more and I was like, "Oh wow. So if

I use my voice and I just start writing scripts, I don't have to rely on Jeffrey to make videos with. I don't have to rely on his brain to re uh make videos with. I don't have to kind of rely on outside sources, right? And so, um, I started, um, oh, I want to say the important

thing here that I want to, uh, want you guys to take note is that the more you iterate, the more likely you'll find it online. Um, like look how many videos I mean, it's not a lot of videos, but like look how many like I was just trying to experiment. Like these were these are

some of these videos were so dumb and I was just like so cringe about posting them, but I was just like I I have a job to do. like I I don't want a salary. I got to kind of like pick up the base, you know. Um but the more you iterate, the more likely you'll find an unlock.

And for me, that unlock was, hey, you could do a voice narration and actually write. And so I started doing more of these. I started, you know, writing down hooks. I started writing down scripts. And I started using my voice a lot more. But a lot of the content was still trash. I still

couldn't get people to do the one thing I wanted them to do. Um, and that was get people to work on their own ideas. And seeing the numbers every morning kind of sucked. Like I had to look at this website called Post Hog where we would see the metrics every day where it's like if we make a video or make

some form of media then we we would see some spike. But that never really happened. It was kind of like a little bump. And I had to see that every morning. And I got I had to train myself to think in that way. Um and I was like super depressed. I was like, "Oh man,

this is I don't want to look at this." You know what I mean? Um I want to say it's not bad to look at the numbers. You kind of have to be real with yourself. Um if the content isn't working, then there really is no story worth listening to, right? Um two ways to go about this.

Do what works or just make shots? What do you guys think I did? >> Shoot shots. Nah, I chose to do what works. So, I started doom scrolling. I started doom scrolling. I start and uh mind you, I I lived in my car in SF. I didn't want to pay rent. Also, I didn't like the

interior design of any houses over there. So, I was living in my car and I was in the back seat just scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, scrolling trying to find inspo, trying to find any piece of inspo um that could I could relate back to the company or back to what type of videos I was supposed to be making.

this video because I related to the video. I related to the video because oh, he's trying to save his company or they're trying they're having they're they're they kind of have a similar problem like us where they're making games but they need people to use it. we have this program but nobody is

coming to to join it and and and work on their ideas. So I started to start studying how the [ __ ] it went so viral and importantly understanding why it went so viral. So I took their hood I took their hood. This is our boss Luke and he's about to save our company. And I literally I

literally just said this is my CEO Farza and he's trying to save our company. And then I made this video. >> This is my CEO and he's trying to save our company. >> Added a little spin to it. >> In the next two months, we have 50,000 people.

>> We have people working on AI, hardware, music, content. Even this dude trying to build up. So, be able to pull this off. You want to see us build the biggest pool in the world. Click that follow. >> So yeah, November 1st I started studying what works and we started getting a little bit more signups to the program.

them right now. Um, I want to show you guys an example of my friend his he goes by um, Wholesome Simon on YouTube. Um, I met him uh, two years ago now, I think. And, uh, very, very good friend of mine. Um, I've learned a lot from him, but he's been doing YouTube for a while now.

And I want to share this video with y'all because I think it's just like a perfect example of um, a good hook. For the past two years, my closest friends and I have been planning a road trip across the United States. I always thought it would just become one of those things you always talk about but

never do. But we began to realize that if we wanted to go on this trip, this summer would be our last chance. With everyone growing up and parting ways, for most of us, this would be our last free summer. So with little planning, we decided to dedicate the entire month of June to having the adventure of a

lifetime. This is a story of friendship, of growth, and of learning to live in. Welcome to Project.

Wow. Um, what do you guys think of that, man? And I had to watch that on the big screen. I can't I couldn't watch it on here, but I get goosebumps when I when I see that video. And you know, the visuals is one thing, but man, the writing the writing is phenomenal. I wish I can write like

that. I don't know why I'm here today. He should be teaching y'all, but that was great. But I want to I want to open it up for y'all to kind of share how y'all felt with that with that opening hook. I think what stood out to me was the moment he said this would be our last

chance because the question that's in my mind is why is it the last chance and then he says he follows it up with something that's relatable which is that we're all growing up. Um which got me invested into the story as opposed to somebody just being like oh I'm going on a road trip for 16 across 16 states

>> right >> it's interesting. Yeah, I think uh I mean I haven't even driven like more than five states. Like who doesn't want to drive across the United States with your homies, you know, take a gap year or whatever? Um I think that's what he said. But um anybody else? that you always talk to your friends about, it kind of creates a sense of urgency where it's like, wow, what have we been talking about with our We've never done it kind of spurs us, you know, take the same. >> Yeah, the group. What's that one saying? The group made it out of the group chat or

the writing, not not the hook necessarily, but but your own piece of writing. And when you have the luxury to say it to in front of people, you learn so much more. You learn so much more. And if you're not used to saying it out loud, you can learn just as much, you

know, if you say it to yourself. Um, everyone thinks they know how to write a good hook until you have to write one, right? Um, I'm going to give you guys an example of a bad script. And this is probably a bad example of showing a bad script. Um, let me I'll just read you

guys kind of like where I started. Right up here is a bunch of noise. Kind of like I try to make it like all visual stuff, but here's where it starts. There's always this one question that comes up whenever I tell friends, family, and even strangers that I live in my car. And while it might seem like

the simplest question to answer, I always find it hard to actually put it into words. And that question is why? Um, and then the story goes on and on and on and I got some visuals that I want to overlay and stuff. I don't know how to write a sc like a like a proper

script, so I kind of like wrote it in there. I baked it in there. But arguably that was pretty ass. Like what was I saying? Even I myself I'm questioning myself right now like what like what was I talking about? Like why what are you talking about Josh? Does does anybody know what I'm talking

about? No. Right. It was it was very unclear. Um so I said, "Okay, let me let me turn it down a little bit. Let me remove all the noise." Um, for the past year and a half, I've been living in my Subaru while working at a startup. And although it's given me a lot of

financial freedom and ability to move around anywhere I'd like, there's always something missing that I wish I had, and that's the feeling of being home. Um, still kind of bad. Like, why am I saying although it's given me a lot of financial freedom? Like, that's a little bit too much. An ability to move around

anywhere I'd like. Okay. There was always something I something missing that I wish I had. Just tell me. Just tell me what you what you were missing. Just tell me what you're missing. Don't Don't preface it. Just tell me. You only got a few minutes or a few seconds of my time, buddy. Um, and so this is still

kind of bad, right? And so I trimmed it down even more. Um, now this is the final copy. There's some red lines that I didn't include. For a whole year, I didn't tell my job that I was living in my car because for some reason, I just felt embarrassed to tell them the truth.

I was afraid on what they think about me. But when I finally told them this was their response, and this this is where I show uh my friend Josh, we already know you're living in your car. And then this is like the cut. Um I know slightly better, right? I now am talking

in a more comfortable, more like, hey, this is me way. Um I'm not saying although, therefore, u I'll be it. You know what I mean? Like those type of things. Um I'll show you guys the video real quick. I didn't tell my living for some reason to tell them the truth. I was afraid on

what they think about me. But when I finally told them, well, this was their response. >> Josh, we know, >> right? So, um yeah. Um, I that was a that was a that was a script that I wrote and then I was like so happy to finally get done with the script and I

was like I want to get I want to get the the shots now because I'm like a very visual person as you can see here. But you know when you're trying to write when you're trying to tell a story you always want to start with the story first and you always want to start

backwards from like what you want people to do, right? What you want people to feel or think. Um, ignore the noise for now and just write the story. Don't Don't do a see a closeup on like so and so's face. You know what I mean? Like that stuff does not matter right now. Um

in in in in in the in these type of videos, right? Um, so, um, might not have time to do this, but, uh, I want I wanted you guys to write the entire entire story, but, um, I'm going to kind of improvise, but I want you guys to kind of take take this as like a take it

homework as as you wish, as as as you will, like to, um, challenge yourself to like write the entire the entire story that you kind of had um, from like the hook that you wrote today. or if you didn't write a hook, just write a story, you know. Um, uh, I I I want to jump into this. Uh, you're

going to write a lot of bad stories, even even after a a good one. Um, you can make videos go super viral, but if it's just chasty numbers, you're probably going to burn out. Um, I want you guys to kind of think about this framework that my friend is showing here. Uh this is my friend

Jeffrey who I he taught me a lot in how how to write and how to tell stories. Um he's a writer himself. He's been trying he just actually quit his job to go like uh pursue explore other things. And I texted him today. I was like you going to write that novel? He always keeps

bugging me like you going to write that film? Uh but in this in this little picture it just says has two circles right one in the middle and what people like and then here uh it's two circles what people like what you like and then here in the middle iterate and increase this. I always think about this photo. I

always think about this because I'm like dude that's such a simple way to think about things. You know, when you're when you're burning when you're burned out from like creating content, creating videos, creating all types of media, you know, especially right now, you we tend to make things we tend to lean more into

things about what the algorithm likes, what the people like, what other people like, right? But is there a way to find balance between what people like and what you like? Um, and then when you do find that niche, how do you increase it more? How do you make more of that stuff? Um, so I just kind I want you all

to kind of think about that framework. Um, and I want you to think about why you're creating and what impact you're making. Um, and one last story and then and then and then we're uh out of here. Okay. Um, this is my friend Braden right here with the with the with the arrow

pointing down. And I met him a couple of years ago at Ghost Base, what the SAR ball was working at. He was one of the people that was working on their own ideas. We invited him out for three months to our um in real life campus called SF2 and his idea was an AI

powered Chrome extension that coaches you how to play chess um while you play. And his goal was I want to have a thousand daily active users. I want a thousand daily active users is crazy. By the way, thousand daily active users. Um Braden, that's that was his goal. That was his app to the side.

This was how much he This is how much users he had for the first two months. He had zero people trying his app. The only person that was trying his app was him and maybe a few people in the class. Um and one day Braden comes in into the office and I overhear this thing him

asking around saying, "Hey, how do you uh do uh I want to learn how to do UGC campaign because I want to scale my product." And I'm hearing this and I'm like I'm getting a little mad. I'm getting a little like upset. I'm like, "Bro, I'm right here. I'm the in-house video school staff video producer. Like,

ask me." Um, why isn't he asking me for help? And so, um, he leaves the room and I like go after him and I'm like, "Yo, Braden, like we're going to make a video right now. Um, come on." And so, you know, I wanted to help him. And in less than like an hour, I cooked up this

script and I just talked to Braden for a little bit and I tried to understand more of his problem, more of like like why he's building this and more of like uh of just him. You know what I mean? Of the current situation. And you know, I had the hook. Uh I I had the hook at

first. Braden is trying to save his act. Um, he only has 47 days and 4 hours and he only has uh I had this other part, but like this is not the final copy, but this is kind of like what I wrote, right? This is kind of like a an outline. Um, and this is this is the video that we

made. He only has 47 >> Oh, sorry. and he only has 47 days and 4 hours to save his app and time is tick. So Braden is building an app that helps you learn how to play chess by having an AI assistant. You've been doing it for months and so far, how many people are

using your app? >> Yeah. >> What the [ __ ]

Let me know in the comments. >> And so, um, yeah, like we posted it, we didn't think nothing of it. I was kind of like skeptical to be honest. I was like like I've never had a video like go past like 50 or or like or like I don't know I don't know what the number was

but um yeah I just posted I just genuinely wanted to help Braden. Um and for two months he was at zero users. I just want to I just want to like reiterate that for two months he was at zero users and then after that video posted within a week he ended up getting 857

weekly active users. >> 857 weekly act active users from that video from that silly looking video. Um I don't know what these numbers mean. What does that numbers mean? It doesn't matter. Oh yeah, I'm not good at math. But um yeah, this is crazy, right? Um and so I doubled down. I was like, "Oh,

this works for Braden. There's 40 41 more." Uh there's there's more students in the in the class that are working on their ideas. So I doubled down and made 41 more, right? 41, right? Okay. 41 more videos. I made 41 more videos. Every day I was pumping these out. I created a system. I created a format, an online

series. Um, uh, maybe you have seen it, maybe not, but yeah, and people online started taking action from the videos. People started signing up and working on their own ideas, and we started getting numbers up. Look at that. Um, and that was so cool to see. I was like, to see the correlation from

these videos to people doing something online, like it's it's kind of like magic, you know? Um, it was a lot of work, but very, very rewarding. And so, February 20th, 2024, creating an online series to help people find their audience. Why am I telling you this? Why is this important? Anybody >> showing us the

>> showing you the journey? Okay. Yeah. I'm showing you this because >> every everyone here, these were all the students I I I made videos about. One of one of two of them are here actually. Um these everybody here that you're looking at was working towards their own idea. But nobody knew nobody knew that this person left their

full-time job to go pursue music. Nobody knew that this person left their whole country to go to America for the first time and live in SF for three months and work on their own idea. Nobody knew. Nobody knew. But by telling the right stories, they were able to be seen by other people who

thought their ideas were cool. And it was all shot on iPhone. >> We didn't spend we didn't spend any any money uh besides the salary I was getting, right? And then uh like the the the camera equipment or or not the camera equipment, but like yeah, the salary I was getting. Like that was the

only thing. Other people would would spend thousands and thousands of dollars to create a campaign like that, right? Um people, a lot of companies have programs to get people to use the certain things, you know, but we kind of just did this um you know, out of like uh genuine like help, right? Um and

yeah, you don't need to spend so much crazy equipment, so much crazy things to get to get something going. In fact, I actually record all the audio from like my phone. Um, even though I had like a freaking $500 mic sitting in front of me. Um, yeah, this uh I wanted to put out uh my

my dad my dad said this on the last uh workshop. It was a comment, but what makes a good video is the authenticity of the acting and to be able to capture that in film. Um, thank you, Pops. Yeah, I I kind of want you to think about that because the stories that I was trying to tell

about them, we didn't try to like, you know, a lot of them would tell about tell me their what they're working on. They would try to be a little bit more like discreet about it or not discreet, just a little bit more like uh for lack of better words, like corporate, right? Like

standard what you would say. And uh I was like, "No, no, no, no. You're not just building a robot that can do things for you. Like, you're not just building a a a EDM uh album. You're building your first EDM album. You quit your job to build it to to make this EDM album. And so like when

you try to get people out of their shell and like kind of like start um like capturing that that energy, it's it's really an addictive like um thing to to see. Um but yeah, I I kind of want y'all to uh a challenge for you guys is, you know, if if you guys want finish the script uh if

you have a script in mind, finish it. shoot it on your phone, edit it, show me some show me for feedback and uh and then and then let's post it. Um if you have an idea for a video that you want to post, like I want to see I want to I want to I want to see it online or um

like clips from like a Zoom call or like pop culture clips or like images. Um, do you like plan that out in the actual script writing phase or did that just come to you later when you're editing like or you have to vision more early? >> Um, yeah, that's a good question. So,

the question is like do I uh think about the visuals alongside the the the writing the script, right? Um, uh, it goes kind of like, uh, it's it depends on on the the the video that I'm I'm telling or the story that I'm telling. Um, a lot of times, for example, when I'm when I'm talking to the uh the pe

other people about like their their their like who they are, what they're what they're trying to do, and like I'm making a video about them, I usually just like write out like a just ramble for just ramble. I just ramble and then I just try to take it take it apart and then uh right after I just try to ask

him like yo like just give me like as much photos as much as possible um baby photos or like you working all these things like um I'll try to do that uh as soon as possible because I I like I like I mentioned earlier I'm a very visual person. Um, but I I've been trying to

get into the habit of like not trying to pair the the visuals with the script because I think that if the writing is really really good, the visuals can always come later. Like you got to really focus on the writing first and then have the visuals come in late because that's the easy that's the fun

part, you know? That's the really fun part. Um, the writing is the is the hardest part because you have to be authentic. You have to kind of tell the truth, you know what I mean? Like I would say like don't don't try to like get the visuals at the same time. Just just focus on the writing. It just

depends like it it depends on what you're trying to tell. Um yeah, hopefully that answers your question. >> Yeah. I have one more for the editing process and like that phase like you write you write the script, you shot the video. Do you have any like specific things that you always try to do when you're actually doing the

editing partations? Um, when I'm doing the editing part, I I usually So, what I will do is like when I after I'm done with writing the script, I will do the voice uh the voice recording right after because I want to hear my voice and I want to avoid I want to avoid as much changes as much as

possible when I have all the footages. And so what I would do is uh do the voice recording and kind of slap it into the timeline um of of like the I use Premiere for my for video editing, but you can use whatever. You can use CFKA Da Vinci. Da Vinci is free. But um I'll

record my voice over and I will try to get like the timeline of the voice over first and then right after uh I'll kind of try and pair it with the music first actually cuz then the music really does dictate like I love music. Everybody loves music. Uh I try to use the music

as a a second guiding factor. Um, and then and then and then yeah, like the visuals will will will come in later. Um, I've been trying to do that for the last few months actually cuz I I am a very messy editor. Like if you see my timeline, like it's like you you

would hate me if we had to work on a video together. You'd be like, "Yo, like I can't read this." So, I've been trying to get into the habit of getting into that system of like, okay, write, say it out loud, do the voice recording, put it in in the timeline. Does it sound good?

Does does Can you hear good? Um, no, no, no. No, no sound is clipping. And then see what kind of uh AB test it with some music and see what kind of the cadence is it. You know what I mean? What kind of the what is the cadence that that pairs well with the voice? Um, yeah. So,

and then the visuals after. >> Yep. >> What was that? >> I do want to make a film, but man man. >> How do you think these ideas? Um, so I don't um I don't think every strategy that I said here is going to translate uh too well because um a lot of the stuff that

I was trying to say was more for like telling stories online. And what I mean by that is like you're trying to build kind of like a I don't know the best way to say like a following or a brand or whatever, right? Um uh but I think that after when you do

get the film kind of if you have a short film made the stuff that I I I shared earlier like the top of funnel stuff like you know like that's super valuable for filmmakers that want to put their films out. Um damn like what is the slides man? Um, this is super valuable. Like

these this is strategy that if you like I said if you master this strategy if you master writing like how to write um man you can get I don't care what film you made you can get anybody to watch your film especially nowadays. I mean we kind of we're kind of seeing it before

our eyes right. Um and then you know like stuff like this like knowing how to write. Yeah. like knowing how to write will be the best thing that can translate like for like writing a film, right? Maybe not the not the not the structure of how I write the notes and stuff, but like even then like you know

everything every piece of media is marketing. I mean every piece of media has writing. Every piece of media has a story. Um you see these movies that come out like Obsession and like Marty Supreme. I didn't watch any of those two movies, so don't ask me how how how it was. But I don't like overhyped movies

personally. I'm gonna wait till they go on like the streaming platforms and I'll watch it by myself. But um all those movies, they have a [ __ ] ton of budgeting for marketing. They spend so much money on marketing. They have like 10 million. You hear about these movies that are like, "Oh, it was an indie

movie. It was $30,000." Yeah, but the marketing was 510 million. You know what I mean? like um they do that because it that is the a big part of like uh getting your movies out. I think I haven't done I haven't gotten a movie now. So I maybe I'm I'm maybe I'm wrong,

but like yo, like a lot of the movies that have came from like YouTube was because they went super viral, you know, and how do you get a a video to go super viral? You got to have good writing. You got to have good like storytelling. You got to have good marketing, you know,

and all it is is back to the writing. Like how do you tell a story? So yeah, the hooks and stuff like those like type of strategies not probably might not translate well, but how to tell a story is gonna translate super well. And the and the top of funnel stuff too. Um cuz

like you don't if you don't have 5 to 10 million dollars to to spend on marketing, then what the hell are you going to use? You know what I mean? Gorilla marketing. I don't even know what that is. What is that? >> Anybody else? >> One of the uh the biggest changes I've

seen from your early content, the content you have now is your pacing. >> How would you describe how you found your own pacing versus how you're structuring that? >> Oh man, I should study myself a little more. I didn't know I I didn't know my basing was a little better. Um I think you know

in in the earlier days I really wanted to go viral. Very very toxic obsession by the way. But, uh, I would try to make things like super fast and slim down stuff, like trim down stuff. And, um, nowadays I'm just kind of like, dude, like, it's all about the writing. It's all about the

writing. Doesn't matter kind of how slow you're saying it, but like, you know, maybe you got to it can't be too slow, but like it's all about the writing. Especially now with a lot of like the uh, you know, the other type of media coming out. Um, people want to see more honest

things. Um, so yeah, if my pacing has gotten a lot better, it's because I just want to be more I just want to be more real. I just want to be more myself, you know what I mean? I don't want to like I don't want to, you know, eminent my way out of a script, you know what I mean?

That's not me, you know what I mean? Or maybe it is. I don't know. But yeah, I hate to say that like I wanted to be more myself like so so like cliche, but it really is like comes down to that. Does that answer your question? >> Okay. I also don't have my glasses, so

it Yeah. Um, what's that? >> Uh, a lot of your videos, especially the ones at the end that you're showing like all the different people that you're doing for, like it seems like it's built a lot off of having like high stakes and I'm curious like do you find that are all those stakes like real? Like

especially the ones where you're like he has like four days whatever like amount of time. Like what is the level of like authenticity in creating those stakes? Um I it's a good question. Um there you you kind I remember um I remember I was talking to some people and it almost sounded like they weren't

excited about what they were working on and they were so like siloed into like building their their thing and so they were kind of like not they were not minding all the other things that some people looked at as like oh [ __ ] dude, like you're you're building like robots so that way we can like play with other

robots and battle robots. Like like I don't think you're seeing it the way I'm seeing it. You know what I mean? And so when people have these like certain deadlines like a lot of people were chill like on the last month like a lot of people were like kind of chill and mellow and uh I was like dude like I'm

not chill like if I don't pick up the base for myself like I'm probably going to get fired you know and so uh I think that a lot of people just don't see certain things when you're just focused on like your thing too much. And I think that's the the greatest like thing that like filmmakers

or videographers or or media people can offer for other people is because you know you you know you have that one friend that you're just always like dude like I just want to hear you talk. I just want to hear you talk. Like don't do any other editing and I don't want you to like put so much sauce on your

videos. Like I just want to hear you talk. You got a great podcast voice. >> You know what I mean? But it may take a little a little bit to get them to make that type of like thing, right? it might take him a little bit to go past that horizon and and realize that, right?

Like people just don't people just don't see it. And you kind of have to, you know, you kind of have to let people kind of be be that like, you know what I mean? And you have to kind of bring it out for them. Um, I had to I had to kind of like produce a little bit of that

stuff where I was like I was like, "Yo, like, you know, I know you want to say something about your music album, but like can we talk about how you have like a couple days left to make it?" You know what I mean? Can we add that in there? Can we add some numbers in there? Um,

you know, and there were some things where we did I I was kind of like, "Okay, your product is not that sexy." You know, there's not a lot of stuff that is not, you know, I mean, a lot of tech is just not sexy. Let's just let's just admit. Actually, I might be wrong.

There is some stuff that like looks pretty cool. But, um, like how do we kind of like spice it up a little bit, you know? And that's where I kind of had to like produce we had to produce a little bit of stuff. And I always had I always had to make sure like I tell the

the uh the person I was making the video for like, yo, is this okay? Um, is this okay to We'll have like this writer room and I love writer room because there's so much more collaboration going on. So, yeah. I hope that answers your question. >> I rambled a lot. I'm sorry. Um, maybe like two more questions and

Go ahead. >> So, one thing I struggle with is the time it takes to like make videos. >> How long is this whole process for you? What I struggle with is the editing process and like nitpicking every single thing and pushing aside. So what kind of

how does like how much time does it take you to the finished product? >> I mean honestly those videos I made this video I made in like a a day but I collected a lot of footage. I collected a lot of footage. Um I made that video in a day though. Um, like, uh, a lot of the videos, a lot of

these videos were made in a day. Um, I'm kind of the type of person like, yo, like you can make a banger video within a day. Like, it depends where you're at, right? Where where your stage is at, you know? Um, I'm I'm pretty sure a lot of y'all probably don't need more than a week to

work on one video. Like you can work on a script, write it out, do the voice recording, edit it in one day. Like I did it. I was doing these these profile videos of people knocking them out. I mean, I was up till like 1:00 a.m. But like, you know, I was or not not 1:00

a.m. I was up till like 11 or 10 p.m., you know? Still counts as a whole day. You know what I mean? So, um, but yeah, you can definitely do it. If if it's taking you a week to get one video done, let's just say like what like how long is the video? Like I would say four

minutes. >> Oh yeah, four minutes. Okay, you should have said that. Okay, four minutes is kind of a long kind of a long time. >> For like a minute video, you would say like less than a day. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, most definitely. Especially if you know how to write, dude. Less than a day. Yeah. Now, four

minutes. I I was I would say like two or three days. Honestly, I don't like making long form videos. I just don't like Yeah. Like not yet. So, um I I gotta get into the groove, but anybody else? What's up? >> Um how often do you write and how do you get yourself in the habit of writing

more? >> How do you how often do you write and how of uh what's how do you get into the habit of writing more? Um, I write I write like uh on my Apple Notes and I just write what comes to mind and I'll just write like headlines or not headlines like just

any random copy >> like I don't know like stuff I'll show you some stuff but like I mean even today like how to make videos 101 I had like a bunch of like notes and stuff but like I'll just write every Yeah, my notes are so filled with writing like Yeah, I like Yeah, so much writing. But

I think there's a difference between like writing like sporadically and then writing like you're in the zone writing. And I think that's one of the best forms of writing is when you like in the zone writing cuz a lot of stuff that you write randomly, you probably might not look at it. It's like it's like saving a

video on Instagram and never looking back at it. You know what I mean? Or an article on Twitter and never looking back at it. But like when you like just put yourself together and then just sit down and write like Yeah. Like that is you got who who knows like Freddy Good. Oh my god. I say this analogy all the

time to my girlfriend. But like every time she does like the DJing making music, I'm like I love that. Like I want to be in that mode. Like I want to be like y'all like Fred again. Like I want to what you guys do for music. I want to do that for video editing. But you know

what we got to do with video editing? Got to pick up the camera. We got to go outside and shoot. Got to, you know, got to have our shoes on. Got to got to think of the composition. Then we got to put it back into the computer and then wait for it to upload. You know what I

mean? Like musicians, they just they can make beats anywhere, you know? Um, and so yeah, I really that's why I really love to write when I'm in that mode because like you put some good song in and just get going. You know what I mean? Um, and it makes it even better when you have an idea of what you want

to write. >> What's up? >> You usually write with music. >> Do I usually write with music? Yes. But when I'm really writing, sometimes I'll forget and I'm having such a good time that I don't want to I don't want to let go of the pen and I just like, nah, I don't need it. I'll listen to the

bus come about every few seconds. What's up, very reason.

>> Yeah. Like you're saying like what's a good what's what would get you to like post your video co-star >> almost like either posting or like even sitting down like this background might not be perfect. >> Yeah. I mean re really briefly like I mentioned in the slides like you're going to burn out even after a good

video. That video I shared about me living in my car. I quit my job like just before that and that video like did kind of well and um a lot of people kind of noticed it and after that video I didn't make any videos for like hella months because I was so stuck on like

okay the next video has to be as just as good and just better and that actually made me not want to write videos or not want to write not want to make any videos like I was like stuck. I was like trying to make the best thing possible. So really like I want you to just not think

about that. Like there's this graph that shows how many people are even actually trying to go after their own passions. And it's so small. So small. Like what you think is like super cringe or like you think that everybody else is doing it, it's really not. Like it's really not. There's not a lot of people going

out and chasing their own things. Like you may think that there is pe a lot of people. There's not. Maybe you got got more people, you know what I mean? But yeah, like I would I would just try to if you have something that you want to tell, you have like this thing that you want to

sell or build or make and you need to be involved online, I would say go do it. like just don't care about like what how it looks or how it feels cuz like I said, the more you iterate, the more you'll figure out like what what that thing will click. Um but yeah, if you

keep thinking about like the best thing possible, you're just not going to make stuff. Like I don't even make any videos. Like I haven't made a video recently in a while for myself. I've been making videos for other people, but I can make other I can make videos for other people. I can't make videos for

myself. You know what I mean? because I'm freaking thinking about like the best thing possible that's toxic. So, I would highly suggest not to uh to to avoid that that issue cuz you will get stuck. Um so, yeah, just post it. Just post the damn thing. Um cuz yeah, like we posted those videos of those people

building their ideas and people and they their lives has been changed like forever and I'm like sick. I would I'm glad that this silly video made that made that for you. So what can what can it do for you, you know? So >> yeah, >> my question was that I'm like I have a

similar problem. I make videos for other people every day and you've grown a couple accounts to multiple hundreds of thousands of followers, right? >> Uh no, maybe like maybe like one or two. Yeah. But adjacent. Yeah. Yeah. And the question was going to be why don't you do that for yourself? But maybe I want to change that question to

have you found a way to unstuck your unwillingness to to do it also for yourself. >> Yeah. I think like I said like when I said like you you like when you want to make a video or you want to make stuff like you really have to think about why you're making videos because if you just

like go and make videos and you're getting addicted to like the numbers like you're just going to burn out. You're just you're going to look at those numbers you're going to be like oh wow like this is great. And I and I wish that for you. I actually wish that for you. I wish that would happen so that

way you can see how um you know how bad it could get. But if you find that niche, right? If you find that thing between uh what people like and what you like, when you find that niche, double down on that cuz that is so that is that is like the itch that's hard to scratch.
