Now, here's goes directly to your question as to how much vitamin C does a human being really need? A 150lb goat. Uh, and I'm not talking about greatest of all time. I'm just talking about goat. Uh, a 150lb goat will make 78 n,000 milligrams a day of vitamin C. And here's the other thing, directly
secreted into the blood. So, we're not talking about taking uh a supplement that you absorb 5% of or 50% of or 20% of and finally makes it inside your body. I mean, that would be an enormous amount enormous amount of oral supplementation of just about any type of vitamin C to actually have a delivery
of seven, eight or nine, 10 grams into your blood. Now, you combine with that the fact that uh vitamin C is part of your stress response. you know when you uh when you hit an animal or human being as well with a large amount of stress uh they the adrenal glands secrete cortisol
and the animals make vitamin C that's because cortisol pushes vitamin C inside the cell but the point being is the amounts the higher the stress level gets the more the liver if there's adequate glucose substrate to turn into vitamin C will make vitamin C and they've shown that the Same goat that makes a baseline
amount of vitamin C of 6, seven, 8,000 uh milligrams will start making 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 grams in the course of a day. All to neutralize that new toxin or that new uh infectious infectious exposure. So, uh, meaning of course that even when we're quote unquote well supplemented, we're still far below the
needs that our body really has for vitamin [Music] C. Hello, Dr. Levy, you are a researcher of author molecular medicine and also the author of 13 books. So, welcome to modern health span and thank you so much for joining us today. Happy to be here, Richard. So, Dr. Levy, one of the your main areas
