10 books EVERYONE should read before the end of the year (fiction book recommendations)

Hi guys, it's Leanne. Welcome back, or welcome if you are new, and welcome to another book recommendations video. Now, I love a TBR, whether that's a monthly TBR, a seasonal TBR, or a TBR of books that I know I want to read before the year is over. Now that we are in the

second half of the year, I wanted to recommend 10 books to you that I think everyone should read before the year is over. We definitely have range. I feel like we cover quite a broad scope of genres, of stories, of narratives, and I feel like there is really something for everybody in the stack. A lot of these

two are recent reads that I've read that I really feel like you would also love, and also just some favorite books of the year in general. So, I'm very excited to go through them. Obviously, as always, if you've read any of these books, please let me know what you thought about them. If you also have any

But, we are going to start in no particular order, other than this is probably, I would say, my second most recent five-star read. I feel like I've raved about it quite a lot, but also not

enough. And that is the Land by Maggie O'Farrell. Of course, Maggie O'Farrell is a very prolific historical fiction writer. She has quite an extensive backlist. But, personally, this was only my second book from her, the first being Hamnet, which I do kind of feel like it's her most notable work now after the

adaptation. That and the Marriage Portrait, which is actually on my fiscal TBR. I really need to get to that. But, Land was just phenomenal. I really went into this book blind, not really knowing all that much about it, and I really do feel like that is the best way to approach it. All you should know is that
