right we've talked about business analysis both in the lectures and we mentioned it in some of the earlier videos in these series of lab modules um and so let's just talk and Define business analysis a little bit more in the context of the assignment deliverable so what you're looking to deliver in this assignment is a

requirements document it's part of project management we'll get into a little bit more details in another lab module video uh and so let's talk about business analysis so if you'll recall in the lectures we talked about business business analysis serving as a bridge between Business and Technology it helps businesses articulate their needs and

the reasons for change as we've said and as I've discussed at many points and I know you know the world continually changes right day to day minute to minute hour to hour we see changes in our world in our environments in our businesses right and so in that sort of sea of change and and there are uh you

know sort of cliches out there that say something along the lines of change is the only sure thing um what we look for what businesses look for is opportunities right so business analysis helps us or businesses us as individuals and businesses to identify opportunities for improvement we talked about things like improving processes for efficiency

and effectively Effectiveness right and so if we can identify those opportunities for improvement business analysis helps us design solutions that will bring the organization value and so what we talk about in BTM is is when we look to improve things it often involves a technology solution it often means data or automation or artificial
