My name is Trendon Latham, a junior at Westbrook Senior High School, and the proud president and founder of Bruin World Order. We conducted a study of over 200 respondents at Westbrook Senior High School, 10% of its population, and we

found disturbing results. Most of those results actually came in between 1:00 and 3:00 a.m. in the morning. Think about that. Teenagers staying up on school nights to talk about school. Either we're really good at engagement or there's a serious problem, and unfortunately for all of us, it's both. Now, we don't have all day, so I'm going

to cut this to three simple points. First, this is not just one bad week, unfortunately it is error upon error upon error. Students reported four out of five that when they were asked how satisfied they were with the district's participation in their lives as students as well as individuals, they were in four out of five agreement that they

were very dissatisfied, the lowest rating possible. When asked if they would recommend the district to a family moving in, the most common answer was definitely no. On top of that, there were three other main points. First, scheduling errors. The 4:30 dismissal time, of course, is a choice that was made, and that choice has major effects.

Older siblings who were originally child care plans now face the issue of the fact that the district has given them no kind of replication method to ensure that their younger siblings have someone at home to take care of them.
