Hey, how are you doing? Welcome to this new video I am Olbaid And this is the episode number 26 of how to use FL Studio 20 Ok, We have alredy seen, some of the plugins inside of FL Studio But, there are still some of which you've probably heard of And this is when we are talking about distortion

There are different ways of making distortion And in this episode we are gonna look at two of the most common ones Which are Fast Dist and Fruity Overdrive When we put a sound here I have a piano here I am sending it to the channel number 5 We can insert here the effects

One of which is, this one, Fast Dist And the other one is called Fruity Blood Overdrive

And they are this two. Ok, We are going to leave one in front And We are going to check the other one later. Alright, so first Fast Dist ¿What does it do? This is a distortion which has two modes As you can see, they are very few controls And they are very easy to understand

The first one says Pre, it's the preamplification That is, the sound that's coming into the distortion We can change it's volume Before it starts to get distorted Because sometimes depending of this, It's how the shape of the wave is going to behave on the output We are going to put it here, without any Preamplification

And I'm going to add more

Really easy And the one that we have here, is also amplification But it is a gain or volume that goes after the signal has already been distorted So, If we, for example put it the other way around This one is on the minimum and the other to the maximum There is practically no distortion
