I've been teaching NLP techniques for more than a decade. And there are three main techniques that I use on myself and with clients and students more often than any other. These are the techniques that create true and lasting change. When people try NLP techniques and they don't work, it's usually because of one
of two reasons. One is that NLP has been watered down quite a bit by most teachers. When teachers are teaching people, they're usually not teaching real NLP and then people try it and it doesn't work because they're not using it properly. The other problem is people using NLP techniques for inappropriate situations. So you got to know the right
technique for the right situation. And I'm going to explain that about these techniques as well. The first technique has to do with clarity. It is so important that you're clear about what you want and what's important to you. You may think that you are, but trust me, most people I meet are not that
clear about it. Most of your drives, most of what is important to you and what you value is buried deep in your unconscious. And for the most part, our lives tend to be more on autopilot than we're even aware of. Here's what you need to understand about this technique. That is that there is nothing more
important in your life than what is most important to you. I know that sounds obvious, but people are not living as if that is so obvious. The other important understanding to have about this technique is that nothing has inherent value. Things, objects, achievements only have the value that you're projecting onto it. If this weren't so
and objects and achievements had inherent value, everyone would want the same things to the same degree. And this is just not true. Some people might want a new car. Some people couldn't care less. Some people might want a new home. Some people it doesn't matter to them. So if nothing has inherent value, then
